Never going to HIN again. This show was small, not that many good cars. COPS everywhere. Everyone was getting pulled over for stupid reasons. I showed up around 6 and on my way to the parking lot there was a line of people getting pulled over. CHP bikes and cars. We got board so we tried to leave early, we were trying to plan a way out because some of the cars that we went to would get state refed for sure or worse towed. We were just by our cars and the CHP bikes kept passing by the parking lots looking at us. It looked like some of the bike cops were calling in the cars that were leaving so the cops at the exit could pull them over...... Anyways luckily we got out with a big group of cars and the cops did not go for us. but it sucks for the people that got pulled over.
will post up pics later.

Another reason why HIN is going down hill is because they are not doing enough to protect the attendees of HIN from being harassed by the police. I'm sure HIN has some sort of agreement with the City of San Mateo to prevent the profiling from happening, but the City Police itself does not care in any shape or form. I honestly don't think HIN gives a shiet about this issue. All they care about is $$$$$$.
I wouldn't fully point the finger at HIN... - it's just unfortunate that San Mateo doesn't like HIN (or the crowd it brings in) so they slapped HIN with soo many rules and regulations.
- limited to < 200 cars
- no more indoor show
- cut down on the event time
- every car showing gets their hood poped and vin checked by law enforcement
- ticketing customers while they leave
So Basically San Mateo doesnt want us there =(
BUT!!!!
HERE ARE SOME PICS!!! (sorry I don't have that many car pics - I was tired from setting up all day, HOWEVER enjoy these.....)
Girls on our rides

CONGRATZ ZDIRTY! 1st place "Best Driven Nissan" award

Nice meeting some fellow Z/G drivers there! Congrats to the other teams that won or showed! And nice meeting Tech2 crew (our neighbors)!

show was really small. i walked it in 30 min approx. it was cold as hell since it was an outdoor show. the quality of cars has significantly dropped. it seemed as though this hin was a big meet...no offense to any participants. show was unorganized and damn, 30 bucks per person to get in with no discounts? with all the cops patrolling the parking lot and streets, it felt like it was against the law to go to hin. maybe theyll get their act together for pleasanton, which will probably the the same exact (outdoor) show as this one.
That is true i really wouldnt blame in on HIN staff, cops were just being D***s i saw one honda who told a CHP bike F*** The police and the cop pulled him over and was yelling at him. lol it was kinda funny, but i think the name calling was un called for...... besides that issue I really liked all the Z's that showed up. I was really tripping out on the Z's who had the 2JZ swap on them
i wonder how they run?

Heard the madness about the cops during the show opening and after. So sad it happened again.
Some of my crew at the show, we were lucky to have to tear down and not deal with the cops afterwards.
