Default UpRev Osiris @ ZCG

Our favorite Z Car shop in the bay area is now offering tuning services. I was the first one to get it done. You all know what it is and I know you were just waiting for a Z specialty shop to start offering it. If you're interested, give Rob a call at Z Car Garage and tell him Bryce sent you. Their number is located in the Automotive Shop Directory above. I'll be sure to post my dyno sheet once I get my scanner working.

P.S. Changvi, your car is freakin sweet bro.

Bryce

Ok here you go:

No need for a scanner. Take a pic of it with your camera and upload it.

Edit: Never mind on the year, I figured it out.

Did you buy the unit from Z Car or did they just tune it? I want to see dyno charts and list of mods please.

2008 350Z Grand Touring

Injen SP1987 Cold Air Intake
Stillen 304SS Headers
AAM High Flow Cats
Bassani Exhaust

Since I was the guinea pig with the Osiris software, Rob and I ordered the tuner package from UpRev to try it out. I've e-mailed him about others purchasing the software and will report back when he lets me know the situation. I also asked him to send me the before and after dyno's so that I can post them up here and I'll do that as soon as I have them.

Thanks,
Bryce

Doubt it, unless Rob's dyno shows higher numbers. Im more interested in comparing the before and after dyno to get a better feel for true gains. Im just curious because this is the first I have heard of a HR being tuned by Z Car Garage. I cant help but to be skeptic since no dyno charts have been posted. ****, there isn't any mention of final number results either.

Bryce, hurry up bro... Take a cell pic of the charts if you have to

In my experience, ZCG's dyno numbers are slightly lower than some other places (especially the old SP that Ted ran ).

Forbes from ZCG agrees:

I thought Bill (hiz of hiz-n-herz) was tuned when he made ~300rwhp, but read that he wasn't.

310-315rwhp may be possible on a tuned HR - especially with some octane.

yeah my car dynoed at 290hp, with all the stuff in my sig. All the work and dyno was done at ZCG.
Bill has 296, the only difference was his exhaust. Mine being Nismo, his is Bassani. Neither of us have Stillen headers or a tune. A.H showed some nice gains with his Stillen headers.

Did you drive/meet a few weekends ago for the Z Car Corral with Zonc at Seca?

I'm going down to the shop tomorrow to get my dyno's (gonna bring a flash drive with me). I'll post the dyno's as soon as I have them. I'll tell you this much, I did not hit 300HP but looking at peak numbers taken on different days under different conditions is not the right way to look at dyno numbers. By the way, I talked to Rob today and they are going to be Pro Dealers of the UpRev software so you can purchase and have it tuned all through them. He was talking about running a special for maybe the first ten customers but I don't know all the details. If you're interested, give him a call. If you're waiting to see my dyno's check back by the end of the day tomorrow.

Thanks,
Bryce

+1 I will be one of those who will be tuning with Rob in the next week or two with the Osiris tuning. I am not too familiar with Osiris on DE motors, so I will find out how well it responds to it. I will also post the dyno of before and after the tune. Just hope that it does wonders...............

While this comment is true, it isn't off by that much. I have done dynos with the exact same setup on previous cars (Dyno GTG's, same dyno) and only by 2-5 HP difference.

I don't want to jump the gun just yet, I think we need to look at both Dyno sheets to see by how much the numbers changed. I want to agree with you since at worst, on the most conservative Dyno, the numbers should be in the 305-308 HP.

Wow, you guys are making me think my car is a piece of sh*t. I will say that with all the mods I've done, I also expected much higher numbers overall. In case you were wondering, my car is a 6MT.

Dude, trust me, Its not the car...

Like I said, I don't want to jump the gun here so I will wait to see the dyno charts. As far as I know this is the first HR ZCG has tuned. Without the dynos, none of us can say much since we don't have all the facts.
