Default G37 with 11-99 frame pulled over in SF

I saw a G37 with a 11-99 license frame pulled over this morning by SFPD on San Bruno Ave in San Francisco, looks like they are cracking down on front plates? Curious if it was a member here.

11-99 is a CHP Foundation, doesn't mean anything to SFPD.

I don't know if you really want an 11-99 license plate frame. It's mostly a bunch of rich guys that drive high end cars, most of which have "limo'd out" tint and think that they're above traffic laws. It makes a mockery of what the foundation is all about, and that is a charity that helps families of fallen CHP Officers. These guys (not all of them) just DONATE the amount of money necessary to obtain the license plate frame and then drive around like they're untouchables.

For a $1800 donation to the organization you get a license plate frame, a certificate and a wallet with a special 11-99 badge in it. The wallet has a place for your ID just opposite the badge. The perfect thing to hand to an officer who has just pulled you over.

You get some type of card or documentation when you actually buy or donate. Getting pulled over with just the plate and no card....that's just asking for trouble.

BTW, I believe the price went up a few years ago. Was somewhat reasonable before.
