FYI, Mark and I are working on getting models from Tuner's Playground to come out to have a photo shoot with us........ Gentlemen, this gives you another reason to come out to the meet......... Also, working on getting a few shops to come out to setup a booth at the meet as well........

 

and also i left a message to beshoff infiniti (brian) to come out too with his crew and represent that dealership .

so i didnt manage to get models for my Home Depot Car Show bec. my managers didnt allow me so now im gonna try to have tuner playground to come out and have fun on that day with us and some photoshoots me and vince wants to have this meet to be remembered and to do it again

Yeah Mark, I fly Wed morning, finishing up packing, etc. tomorrow. Running like a chicken with it's head cut off now...but will return to the U.S. on July 29th. I'm just trying a little with ideas for Vince to get this project going. If I wasn't going to be out for country from July 1st - July 29th, I would be pm'ng poor Vince to death with ideas, etc. But when I return I will chime in and help out, while getting the Pebble Beach Run completed also. We will back Vince and assist every way possible. That will give us 3 annual runs then, Carmel Valley/Pebble Beach (mine), Home Depot (yours), and TI (Vince). And I have one more friend of mine, maybe he will have the Infiniti one as an annual. Will have to pm and ask him. That would give the forum 4 annual runs to plan on for fun each year to meet each other and enjoy each others company. I would call that the "WMVE" group and I believe we know what the letters stand for...lol

LOL................I'm pretty sure you should be able to get some WIFI in the Philippines. If not, then internet cafe's shouldn't be too hard to find. Then we are in business!!!!

That's the spot I'll bet...the large parking area. And yes I do believe "WMVEJ" is correct. We could as a group plan the annual dates, make a schedule, and the crew is alive!!!
Ed, you got it marked in red. The white is where the last one was, but was not near as in place as the white once, which all the previous ones had been. You on top of it..

 

I never thought about that place in the red. As far as i can recall from the past Treasure Island Meet, it was at the parking lot circled in white. Believe me, that parking lot is HUGE!!! Easy access, and no bumps or curbs. So that means lowered cars, not a problem........ The backdrop of the white parking lot is the SF skyline as well as the Bay Bridge. Either way, its freaking beautiful..

 

This is where the last car show was at (blue).

And it can hold 60-80 cars at least.

 

i'm going to call treasure island ask for the details of that great lawn parking lot and im gonna ask them if they can email me all the details so i wont forget a thing or add somethings hahahaha

the very last Treasure Island Meet was done at the area marked red... the prior one's were done where the white mark is... either spots are nice

As one of the main organizers of the OG TI meet, I suggest you guys make sure no other events are also being held there for the date chosen and get extra help to help out with organizing where people park... or it can get messy.

^^^^Thank you for the 411. Ok, guys, at this point in time, I really need all of your cooperation and help. I was talking to one of the OG members on this forum, and he gave me a new perspective on the planning of this event. Now, we need to figure out how many plan to eat prior to coming to the meet , Who's caravan from where, Caravan leader, ......etc. Now, at this time, I am asking for volunteer Caravan leaders from different area. Sacramento, Vallejo, East Bay, South Bay, and the Monterey region(Warren)?? Please PM me so i can designate who is in charge so we can coordinate the timing or what not.

P.S: Most likely we are not going to have any booths because there is simply way too much work involve for me to handle. Believe it or not, i need to submit and application to the city of SF in order to setup any booths. But we will have models there for everyone to enjoy and to take pictures with.
