Hi I'm looking for a z club in the Monterey county area...or at least people who meet up for runs. Can anyone help me to with this. Does anyone know of a club in the area. And if there is a shop anyone can suggest out here thats closer than San Jose would be great.

 

There will be a Z corral at Laguna Seca, I think on Oct 9-11. You can meet some guys from that area.

 

well hello new Z member, there are a few of use here we usually have meets once a month even tho its been forever since we had one I just been really busy with school on saturdays to do one,but in about a month Im going to do one, heres a few pics of the last 1

 

alltho theres only 6 Zs in this pic we have way more people on coast that couldnt make it we were missing warren,sal,jarret and dave.hope your doing ok dave havent seen u post on the fourms in a while,lol but keep your eyes peeled for a thread about the next meet,also warren (WSchli1672) just had a huge pebble beach drive 2 weeks ago,so were somewhat always doing something local and if not san jose is only 45 min drive for there meets.

As Quinn said, he usually gets a monthly get together here, as we live in Salinas. You just missed my Sept 19th one, 106 people, Z's, G's, GTR's, Porsches, NSX's, 240's, 280's, and more car types, not wanting to miss anyone. Check out the pic's on my Annual Monterey/Pebble Beach run posted on the forum here. Also helped with the renewed Treasure Island Run this year with my friends up north, which was another good one we had. Watch for Quinn to put on a local run here also. You'll have to join in then, and meet some of us from around here. As to shops, we have an excellent body shop here in town, also depending on what you are looking to do, we have contacts for anything from 3M Bra to engine work/upgrades, etc. in different areas. As to engine - upgrades, power, etc. then that would be a shop called: ZCarGarage, (Rob). He's the man. Anyway join us on the next run, when Quinn puts it on. We usually meet by Best Buy over by Fort Ord when he does it.

Thank you all for the immediate responses. I'm sorry for missing that pebble beach event two weeks ago. I haven't been on the forums in quite a while so I was unaware of any event. I am very interested in the next meet. Is anyone meeting up for the races at laguna seca this weekend?? Oh and im defenitely going to join that club.

 

ZONC is a great club...lot's of events sponsored and put on by ZONC.

I was wondering if there are any meet ups for this weekends race. I went on to the ZONC website and saw info about the corral there having but it says tickets stopped selling september 22 for the corral.

 

E-mail the ZONC folks...they may be able to get you the corral tickets in time. On another note I have two tickets for Sunday (entry only...no car corral) if anyone wants them...free. I live right near Laguna Seca so I can meet folks to give you the tix.
