Painting my 280z in SF Bay Area- recommendations?
hey all-
i've been restoring my 1977 280z here and there for the last 3 years. the mechanics, interior, suspension, etc are all perfect now and i'm now ready to paint it. i'm wondering if anyone here has any experience/opinions/advice/hookups with local bay area (preferably oakland or sf) restoration/auto body shops that can do a great job repainting my 280.
my budget is $5k, and i'm looking for a shop that will remove doors, glass, trim, etc, etc, and do a stellar job on my car. the paint job i have in mind is inspired by the ford gt in blue. i'm open to any options- from high end shops to maacos that will go the extra distance if you pay for all the extras.
thanx in advance...

Very nice color choice! My shop is located in San Francisco and one of my tech is specialized on restoring car. If you are interested, pm me or just stop by to my shop and check out our work. I can even show you some photos on all the cars we have been restored here. However, we dont do the work like maacos, we concern about quality, 5k seems reasonable but depends on your sheet metal condition. I can give you a quote once I have a chance to inspect your vehicle.
P.S. Check out my car too, it was in silver and we fully repainted to a Porsche GT3RS orange, with all the trims, doors, glasses removed during the process.
