Scott posted that tonight was a no go because they were hosting a company party there.

I might stop by to hang out on Saturday, not sure if I will race. This place is like 15 minutes from my house.

I wish it was, but it was taken when I called over a week in advance!

I just called LMK, and they have room for groups of up to 10 for 10pm, 10:30pm, or 11pm. I will confirm which one my two other friends that I drive with want to grab. Remember, drivers, you have to be there at least 30 minutes early. I think I'd make it by 9/9:30 myself, so we could still meet and talk Zs before our race for anyone that can go earlier.

Patrick - are you game?

I feel a little bit sick, and coughing like crazy (dont worry, not swine flu ). BUT, **** it, I am down. So no excuse for our beloved Z/G friends not to come, I have to drive a full hour to get there and another full hour to drive back too, COME ON, guys!

So Scott, count me and my friend in (for sure).

OR, you can call in your own deposit when I confirm the time? You tell me, and I'll make the calls tomorrow (Friday) ~lunch time.

I will be there @ 9:30 just to meet and chill.

Anybody know if they still allow you to race without their suit as long as you have a long sleeve shirt and jeans? If so I might be a little more inclined to race.

Cool. We'll see you there, and I'll firm up the time later today. You do not need to wear a suit - just pants and closed-toed shoes.

Ok, I confirmed us for an entire session of 10 people for a 10:30 combo race, which means you have to check in and pay by 10pm. The race is $60, however, you also get a gift card for $60 in return for use after Jan 1, so you are getting $120 of racing for $60. That's better than their Thursday night $40 combo deal special.

I should be there about 9:30 or so myself.

In order to race, you can do one of 4 things:

1) Call LMK at (510) 770-9001 and tell them you are with the Scott party at 10:30 and would like to place your CC# down in place of mine.

2) PayPal me $62 to turboz@gmail.com and consider yourself paid and ready to race.

3) Show up without having reserved a spot and risk not being able to drive

4) Post on here that you will show up to race and I'll leave my CC down for you. When you show up you can pay for your race. If you don't show, you will owe me $60.

I have my CC# down to hold the group of 10, but at NOON tomorrow, I will call and change my personal reservation to reflect the number of spots I am vouching for. I already have myself and 3 others confirmed as well as 3 other friends considering coming, so there are 3-6 spots left to fill our group of 10. Please post up on here what you plan to do!

Any questions?

Scott,
I am a little confused on how the $60 voucher for after jan 1st works. Does that come for anyone who goes?

That sucks. Just show up if you can, and if there is still room - you're in.

They are trying hard to get business this time of year - I get emails from them constantly for $10 sprints, discounts for students, and this latest one - the credit for next year. Basically, if you spend $50 or more in racing this year, you get a gift card for that same amount. It's not valid until 2010 though. Meaning, that if you race in this $60 combo, you'll get a GC for $60 that you can use starting 1/1/2010 to put towards any type of race. I'll likely use it towards their $40 Thursday night combo deal, which will leave me with $20 for the following combo deal that we run. $40 combo is a steal, so this one for a "net" of $30 is a killer deal.

You in?

I am in, sounds like a good deal. But this applies to members right? So I will have to get there early and get a membership. But it all works out, cause sunday is my birthday, and since I am a member I can go back on sunday and get a free combo! Put me down! I bring $60 cash to give to you. Damn too bad my helmet is at davis, and i am in CV.

Thanks. See you guys there, havn't met any of you.

I think we are 12 now, so we'll have to run two groups assuming everyone does show up.
