Ok, given the failure of the last get together (https://my350z.com/forum/northern-ca...and-greet.html), I'm going to attempt to set up a karting meet for us, but will use this post to attempt to get a date set that most can make. Alternatively, if anyone is interested in going to Thunderhill, a group of us will be there this Sunday.

Ok, I confirmed us for an entire session of 10 people for a 10:30 combo race, which means you have to check in and pay by 10pm. The race is $60, however, you also get a gift card for $60 in return for use after Jan 1, so you are getting $120 of racing for $60. That's better than their Thursday night $40 combo deal special.

I should be there about 9:30 or so myself.

In order to race, you can do one of 4 things:

1) Call LMK at (510) 770-9001 and tell them you are with the Scott party at 10:30 and would like to place your CC# down in place of mine.

2) PayPal me $62 to turboz@gmail.com and consider yourself paid and ready to race.

3) Show up without having reserved a spot and risk not being able to drive

4) Post on here that you will show up to race and I'll leave my CC down for you. When you show up you can pay for your race. If you don't show, you will owe me $60.

I have my CC# down to hold the group of 10, but at NOON tomorrow, I will call and change my personal reservation to reflect the number of spots I am vouching for. I already have myself and 3 others confirmed as well as 3 other friends considering coming, so there are 3-6 spots left to fill our group of 10. Please post up on here what you plan to do!

Cool. I'm thinking 12/17 will work best - I have 3 already (non Z-ers) that I typically cart with that want to go, so anyone else would just add themselves to the reservation. At this time, however, I'll leave it open in case a bunch of my350z-ers chime in and say that this Thursday or Saturday are better than next Thursday.

 

If it is at Burlingame - GoKart racer, I maybe able to make it on Thursday. If not, I have to confirm my schedule and get back to u guys tomorrow.

 

I am interested on Thursday. If it's Gokart Racer instead of LeMans, I am even more interested. In either case, I am down.

 

I think we'll plan on Thursday the 17th in order to give others time to try and make it.

We have two that prefer GKR (you and ktdrifts), two for LMK (the other two I typically go with), and two that don't care at this point (me and SE5spd).

I will be headed to T-hill, so I personally can't/won't make that event.

At least 3 of us are going next Thursday night ~9pm regardless.
Plus, with any student ID, one can do a spring for $10, so we'll probably do our regular combo then a sprint, or maybe a few sprints for 10 bucks each.

I'll be heading there with other Z's from SF. We can cruise together if you'd like to..

 

We are going to make a reservation for about 9pm, so we'd need to arrive by 8:40pm. If anyone hasn't gone there before, you need to arrive a little bit earlier. I'll confirm our reservation tomorrow, and let anyone else who wants to join know the time slot that we got so that they can add to the reservation.

 

LMK is booked up with a private party all night next Thursday. Need to devise a new plan. In the mean time, watch this:

Since LMK is full. I have also contacted GO KART RACER. Sessions after 9:00p.m. are still open (Dec 17, thursday). They have a x'mas deal going on on that day. Buy 2 10 mins hot laps and get 1 free on the same day.

Or we can do a Grand Prix which is 5 mins practice/qualify and 20 mins race for $60.

They will also waive the $7 License fee for the new driver on 350z forum plus you get a new head sock

I think we are still trying to go to LMK on another night. We'd miss out on their $40 combo ($60 at GKR), but they have $10 races for anyone with ID. Would you be able to make it to LMK another night?

12/17 at LMK is booked with a private party, and we haven't decided on a new date at LMK or a change of venue to GKR. We typically call 2-3 days in advance and get night time reservations without an issue. I called 8 days in advance this time and found out that they were booked with the private party.

Would anyone be interested this weekend?
