You guys going to be driving at reasonable speeds?

What do these control exercises entail? No jumpin' jacks right?

Ed- we'll be driving at a reasonable pace- no need to get pulled over before we even get to the track. I think Yuichi or Dave can comment on the control exercises a bit better than I can. But my understanding is that they will set up some cones in the paddock area of the track to practice various driving skills.

So should we add your name as the fourth for the Friday caravan?

 

Forecast says chance of rain on Saturday If it rains im bringing the camaro otherwise I am trying to get the rx7 ready to go. Im running group C and instructing so I might end up riding with some of you guys.

the guests can attend the class or just watch whatever group is on the track. with the 3 groups there is always someone on the track.

 

Anyone bringing some tools up? I'm planning to bring some basic tools, jack, and air pump to the track with me just in case.
I'll be leaving on Friday night around 7PM. I rather spent money for the hotel for Fri night than waking up 4 in the morning. Anyone wants to caravan up on Friday night?

I don't think Dave posted but the controled exercises, they basically set up the cones on the huge open pavement and just make sure you do the basics.

If you guys don't get helmets in time the front office rents out helmets.. I think its about 15 to 20 to rent one from the thunderhill office.

just got off the phone with Bill, Looks like there is a caravan from the 300z club leaving Fremont at 9:00am also.... maybe we can hook up with then also? He also need some help moving drinks up to the track! since we all have little cars...

I heard the storm is a small one and may be completely pushed through by Sat morning.

I say we meet at Mission as planned, try to get there a little early (say 8:45). We'll leave as soon as everyone is there and then see if we can make it to Fremont to meet the clubZ guys. If not we'll only be a few minutes behind and catch them on the freeway.

Just saw this thread, need to check this thread more often.

Also Thunder Hill rents a Mobile Dyno Jet, a little late in on this thread but that would of been cool. Only catch is someone needs to pay $250.00 to go to a Dyno Jet class and be certified to run the Dyno, then everyone can dyno. Next time I guess, I may go spectate that would be cool, never been there.
