I did this ride on sunday morning. There were a group of supras doing a cruise. I just wanted to see if anyone was interested in a Saturday 9th ride. There are a lot of bicyclist on the path but there are also plenty of nice turns and clear straights. This is just a feeler so let me know what you guys think?

It looks like we have enough interest to post a time.

I've actually never been on that road, although I live fairly close to it. I am interested

 

This was my second time up there. I first did it in my mazdaspeed 6, and the awd made the experience a bit more subdued than sundays ride. There are a lot of bicyclists so I do want to stress that the best part about pagemill are the turns. Let me know if you guys want to set something up.

 

Early Morning or Late Night drive?

 

Im not sure I did a mid morning early afternoon and it was pretty nice this sunday. It honestly doesnt matter to me. Though I think a little bit of light would be a good thing especially if you dont know the hills.

 

The reason I ask is because when you go like @ 6:30 - 7am, you don't get as many bicyclist.

 

Thats true but you also have a high probability of black ice depending on the temps. I am down for AM if we can get some people to meet up. I felt all alone in a world of Supras yesterday.

 

Either this thread is not interesting or the site has been super slow. Oh well I am still going to be there on Saturday so whoever wants to show up, let me know.

 

That's a fun rode. I like it! I use to go 84/35/pescadero and surrounding back roads like 2 twice a week in my motorcycle or my Z. I might be able to be there depending on the meeting time. If I can't make it watch out for cops..

 

What time do you plan to go?

 

Im thinking 1030am or later just in case it is a cold morning (due to ice). What time would be best for you?

 

i dont know anyone here but i'd like to go. noon? i work late and sleep thru morning.

 

Noon+ would be better for me too...Hopefully the weather would be sunny instead of the predicted cloudy...

It is looking a bit overcast outside, so I am not sure if anyone is still interested in the outing today. I will be heading out there at 1145. Let me know if you think your going to be able to come out so I dont head off without you.
