Might be interested.. next autox mind if I do a test fit in the front to see if they clear my calipers?
No problem, as you know that I "like" changing wheels! I'll have some spacers, too, so if they don't fit you'd know what it would take to make them fit. I think they'll be ok, as I used to run 17x9.5 +31 SSR Comps in the front over my StopTechs without a spacer, but we'll see.
I've never seen at any track or autocross I've been at......I would hope it's fast....it's caged, fuel cell, etc. Not to mention the 4 way motons, etc. A whole lot of dollar bills in that thing.
Hey scott, if you're going to the 27th autoX mind hoping in my car for one of my runs and kinda/sort of tutoring me, I know my driving needs a lot of improvmet I'm not doubting that.
This local viper is NASTY......4 way motons, 1000+whp, 345/30 R888's on back and 325/30 RA-1's (weird) on front.
Do want.......sorry for the OT.
Odd combo, but I can only assume it works.

I'll be there on the 27th, and would be happy to ride along with you to give some coaching.

I've found that the 295s really aren't any bigger than the 285s, which is also annoying since they don't make a 305. The 295s are just a little taller (25.3" vs 24.9") than the 285s, which I liked for rear gearing for Thunderhill, but they actually have 0.1" less of tread width than the 285s (10.8" vs 10.9"), and those comparisons are both on a 10" wheel. The next step up is a huge 315, which has an 11.8" tread width. I could probably use those on the rear for autox on a 10 or 10.5" wheel (recommended wheel width for that 315, however, is 11-12").

Agreed, but 60 runs should be ok for non-competitive events. Mine just turned 60, so I flipped them in/out to try and extend the life towards 100 runs or so.
Oh well my first time out I ran run group 4 and last time I ran run group 1 so I don't know where I'll be this time out.
You ran BSP last time, and that's probably the most appropriate class for your car. BSP is in the afternoon next time since the cycle resets after you run first so you go from first RG to last RG. http://www.norcalufo.org/main/index....ross&Itemid=54
okay cool, yeah I was a little angry at my driving when I found out that stock white Z got 3sec better then me. :-/
Practice will help! Riding along with me in MY car will make you think your car can do things that it can't, however, most people will let someone else more experienced drive their car so that they can see what the car can do. If you want to do that, I'm ok with it.
