Question Any one did the rear axle re-torque in the Bay Area?

Which dealer ship did you go to? I hope you guys know what I am talking about.....the rear makes noise and some had dealers re-torque the rear axle and the noise went away. I don't know if there is a TSB for it, so I'd like to know which dealership knows about the problem so I can bring it in, thanks!

Moodie- I had the clicking noise as well. I had Robert at Stage Motorsports re-torque but the noise was still there. I was told that the rear axle spindes needed to be re-lubed. Was getting ready to take mine to the dealer (which spawned my "mod friendly dealer" thread). But since that time I've only heard the noise once or twice. Seems to only do it when the outside temp is above 95 degrees. If it's cooler I don't hear the noise.
Does the noise sound like a socket wrench clicking?

failsafe: I had noticed the noise (a metalic clicking) all summer. Not very loud and I could only hear it when I was driving slowly along a wall or fence which reflects the ticking sound.

I finally got around to dropping my car off at the dealer to fix the seat click, automatic window closing and the rear ticking noise. However the rear has not been ticking for the past month or so. It is helpful to hear that your ticking stopped when the weather was not quite so hot. It's been in the high 80's but no noise. I hope that they just lube the axle anyway.

Yes, that's the sound.

I guess there is no point on taking it in if I can't duplicate the problem. Guess I'll just wait until next summer.

Do they have a fix for the seat shifting/click? Is there a TSB yet? I need to get this taken care of ASAP. Didn't bother me at first but the last few weeks it's been driving me crazy.

Is this the same as the one "pop" sound that I hear when I brake to a stop? Usually happens when im coming to a stop while also starting to make a turn.

Ive read something needs to be tightened somewhere but forgot which part.

Default Just dropped off my car to Magnussens Nissan in Fremont...

Spoke with the technician, Tommy, and he knew about the Rear axle issue and had done a few Zs already.
