How many would be interested in taking a drive to Napa on 11/08? Weather permitting.
I was thinking that we could meet in Fairfield around 10:00 AM & I'll take you on the back roads to Napa. The run takes about 45 minutes over the hills on very windy roads (no Hwy 12 or 29) & can be continued to Sonoma county if desired to make the run about 1 hr, 20 min out.
If we stop the run in Napa county we can have lunch in Rutherford at "Rutherford Grill" (awesome food) or if we continue to Sonoma County we can take a break at Ledson Winery & then head back over to the Napa side & have a late lunch / early dinner at "Rutherford Grill"
(can you tell I like this place).
Interested parties please post.

Are we a go? Or should we play it by ear? I'm hoping for good weather. I really don't want to make the drive in the rain but I will if everyone still wants to go. I'd like to have more than 6 participants too so if you know anyone else that wants to make the run feel free to invite them. They don't need to have a Z to go with us.
We can meet at Fairfield Safeway parking lot on Waterman Blvd at 10:00 AM. Coming from the bay area take the Waterman/Travis Blvd exit & make sure you follow the signs for Waterman (left turn @ top of exit). You'll see the safeway on the left about a block up. Same coming from Sac except you'll be forced right onto Waterman. Again, Safeway will be on your left about a block up. (It's left at the 2nd light after you exit the freeway). There's a coffee shop there too if anyone needs something for the road.

You can count me in rain or shine. Unless it is absolutley pissing down. I live in Santa Rosa, so if you guys are going thru Napa or somewhere there abouts, I will try to meet the group in that area.
ken, maybe you should PM bixby your contact number (Cell maybe?) so he/she can call you when we are in Santa Rosa... hope it doesn't rain... this would be a nice cruise b4 Thanksgiving...

Ken.
The best part of the drive is: Solano (Fairfield) to Napa & then Napa to Sonoma (ending at hwy 12). I'm not sure how you want to work it but you could either meet us in Fairfield at 10:00 AM or you could meet us at Ledson Winery (hwy 12 Sonoma) & just take the drive back over from Sonoma to Fairfield with a stop over for food in Rutherford (Napa side). As suggested, feel free to PM me & we can exchange cell #'s.
FYI. The current forcast for Sunday is "showers". I may end up driving my Z31. I hate to get my new baby dirty.
