^^ agreed tho Euge has a clean Z. Now if Huy still had his PPW FULLY modded. I have seen his old wheels....a paper weight now.

 

I wanted to add .. incase there was any confusion. More than just locals are invited to participate. If you can make it by the 515pm-530pm deadline to stage your car. Please feel free to provide your info and post pics.

I've been told .. Bay Area NSXs will be making the trip to Sacramento/Roseville for the showing ..


Deadline to provide your details (name/car/photo) to participate (ie get on the list) is 1 August 2010.

 

This event is designed to showcase our cars. This is not a commercial event. No 3rd party vendors, no businesses are allowed.

So if there's a 40th Anniversary Z and/or 2010 NISMO Z owner (of ir anyone knows an owner) out there and you (they) want to be in the show .. please post!

 

Sounds like a pretty cool event.

If you'd be interested to expanding the guest list at all I'm sure I could come thru with some Sac S2000s. It could be as small as me, or a handful of friends, or as big as posting on our forum.

Either way I'd like to come by and hang out.

 

Thanks for the offer. Right now our show is being limited to the NSXs and Datsun/Nissan/Infiniti line (mainly Z's and G's). I'm thinking that the NSXs will be out in force and we won't have any issues with regards to filling up the show area.

However, IF that proves otherwise .. we (with coordination with the NSX lead) may feel the need to expand the guest list .. I will contact you.

^ Fair enough. I certainly don't want to impose on your event. Wasn't sure if you are going to use up all the space.

I might still drop by with some friends to see how it turns out. We'll just park amongst the common folk.

This 1st Fridays event is new for me, and I'm working it (and learning) with the NSX people and Fountains marketing. The "night" is programmed for "our cars" per the 1st Friday schedule.

I'm hoping by mid-July to have a good idea on the actual numbers ... both from the NSX community and the Datsun/Nissan/Infiniti group. If it looks like we'll have space to fill .. the call to other groups will probably go out.

As for dropping by .. please do .. I like the styling of the s2000's .. cool cars!

I think most think that this is so far off, that it's too early for them to commit.
Maybe that's true. Anything can happen between now and August.

I put the deadline off till August, but if I get information that the NSX's are bringing a lot of cars. I may have to shut down the Z/G registration.

I've got a couple z32 "sit'n on the fence" .. not sure they'll be around in August.

 

Deadline is 1 August to submit your name (and photo) or when the count hits 35. Currently its at 27.

Also .. anybody go to "tonites" 1st Friday? I was planning on it, but family obligations didn't end early enough to make the drive out there worthwhile. I was wondering what cars were featued tonite??

 

I actually went out to the fountains for the first time the other nite. Went to a b-day party at the new D&B. The fountains looks like a great place to gather. I can see why u guys would wanna hold a meet there.

When I was there, a vintage car meet had the fountain area blocked off. Looked pretty cool.

I wanted to go. June 4th would have been the 1st .. 1st Friday event of the year. I hoped to go to "check it out" to see how things were set up. I was wondering what the theme would be for the 1st showing ..

The next one is July 1st .. I'm hoping to make it out to that one ...

 

^ U are correct, sir... it was the 4th. Just coincidence that I was there.

 

The list (as shown in the 1st post of this thread) has been submitted to the Fountains people. It was done to show that we are serious and to give them an idea of how many (from our side) to expect.

The asterisks are "tentative" .. as stated previously, there is a cut-off at 35, pending coordination with the NSX group. Anyone who wishes to be on the list (after 35) will be put on stand-by (incase someone drops out).

Same qualifications - you need to send me a pic of your car to get on the list.

 

The July version of the 1st Friday show is on the 2nd.
If you don't have plans .. go on out to check it out!
