OK, since Freakmont was canled i decided to plan an event. About a year ago i went to a 350z bbq event in fremont very good turnout and fun, lots of parking and all. I want to plan it there again. I am a user on 300zx forums so im going to ask them, you guys are welcome to invite any other nissan forums you are a part of.

i will look up details to see if parking is still only $5. Date of event is still pending but since freakmont was supposed to be on 21 of aug lets say for now its on August 21 2010, or maybe sunday the 22?

a lot of folks are wary of meets in fremont. even ones sponsored by local businesses & charities have cops posted up outside ready to ticket/tow participants

There is already another BBQ for the G & Z guys being organized over on g35driver. There is a thread on here too.

In regards to Quarry and Fremont PD... Quarry Lakes is on the border of Union City & Fremont and if FPD is a concern, come in through Union City. I have hosted a few BBQ's here and never had an issue. I always tell the heavily modded to go through Union City

Edit: For a large crowd its best to talk to the park before you tell people to just show up. Depending on the size of the crowd, you may need to pay to rent a spot or risk getting kicked out.

 

Agree with J-. I went there when he had it and I didn't have any problems, but now I would go through go through Union City also due to a little change to my Z. It was a great time there also by the way when I had gone. Had a good spot and plenty of food. Now about the bbq'er....hmmm... have to think about those characters.
