Well..Brian ran it in Amod because his shifter kart motor went boom. He finished 4th (first time he drove the TR11 car). Mike Stanley had FTD for the event and won FSAE.

Just in time for the 1/1/12 autocross, get some 18x10 RPF1s! Posted in the NorCal marketplace.

Heck, I'll even deliver them to Marina on Sunday if someone buys them.

I may go to New Years day event. Not sure what class I will run. Either BSP or SSM. My a6s might have 2 to 3 runs left - they are getting close to cording.

Bump for the silly season...

Got one set of hoosiers today...of course it had to be the coldest day of the year (low 20's for the high). Picking up a set of scrub 315's tomorrow. Will post a Scott like pic of my tire mountain (that has required me to get a dedicated storage unit for them) tomorrow.

Frozen solid:

Sticker tires - sweet. I'm surprised they ship them as four packages though, instead of two packages of two tires. I've always found that to be cheaper!

I bought them from Craig Wilcox (2010 BSP Champ). He got them as freebies. 1000 bucks shipped to my door. 38th week of 2011 stamp date. Couldn't turn them down.

Now that's a score. Even makes me a little angry!

All the more reason for someone local to buy my wheels and tires!

I picked up a set of 315/30/18 Good Year DOT R Road and AX compounds - Free shipping from Treaddepot. com

FYI Tread Depot is still selling Hoosiers at old prices.

I am test fitting 315's some time during the next 10 days to see what needs to be done for them to work on front. I'd look into the GY's, but they don't seem to have the pace. Even the contingent that ran them with success early bailed on them for Nationals.

I'm convinced it will take some setup time to get most from these tires. I also don't think Good Year ax compound is ideally suited for Lincoln. However on cold cement that I run on 80% of the time I think the Good Year ax compounds may be a fast tire. I also think Good Years will heat cycle more graciously with high number of local runs. I haven't been happy with A6 wear or the way they fall off so quickly after 30 runs or so.

While the GY might not be a national tire I suspect it will be good local event tire
