I usually just run 255 star specs all the way around for club stuff...they work well enough to have fun.

Our local venue, Marina, doesnt work well with street tires. Cold smooth cement. My car becomes a drifter. Lots of fun but not very fast. And most of my freinds drive prepared cars so I like to give them a run for their money as its fun to give them a hard time when I beat their times.

Oddly enough, I actually love the RS3s at Marina. I have found, however, that worn A6s at our Sunnyvale asphalt are horrible - to the point of justifying throwing them away - but then once they (same tires) are on the concrete at Marina, oh boy do they show their stick again.

Thats funny. RS3 is only street tire I havent tried down there! I have run RE 11, Direnzzia, Falken 615 K and Nitto NT05. NT0% absolutely suck at Marina for me. Last I checked I didnt see the RS3 in good sizes for the 370Z. Will have to keep my eye out for them if they start making my sizes.

I hear lots of good things about the RS3. When grassroots motorsports tested them against A6 they were less than two seconds off the pace which is impressive for a street tire.

the RS is like $400 cheaper then the OSG so if their performance is exactly the same ill probably go with the cusco

I'll have to take a similar (recent) picture. I think I currently have:

8 x 18x10.5 TSW Interlagos with 285 and 315 Hoosiers
4 x 18x9.5 RPF1s with 285 RS3s
4 stockers with 245 Kumho XS
2 285 BFG R1s
2 255 RE01Rs
set of SSR Comps (18x9 / 18x10.5) with 265/295 R888
set of SSR Comps (18x9.5 / 18x10.5) with 275/315 R888s
8 205/50/15 new R888s (anyone shopping?)
4 x 18x9 NISMO wheels with 265/275 Star Specs
4 x 18x10 RPF1s with 285 V710s
Some other strays. . .

8 wheels for/on the Titan
19" Volks on the ZR

Yes, but it seems to get a little better with every fluid change. You'll think the diff is completely broken if you haven't been a clutch type LSD car, but it is perfectly normal. It will however not impress the bishes as you tote around the parking lot clunking, skidding the tire, etc...

the broken feeling I can stand, I was just curious if they both performed the same. Ive been in a Z with a NISMO LSD and a OS GIKEN LSD neither of them seemed that bad to be honest.

Cusco is probably somewhere in the middle in terms of performance. It is very very unlikely you will "out drive" the capabilities of the cusco. Unless you can get 11/10ths out of the car...the slim benefit of the OS is not going to warrant the extra cost IMO. It does operate smoother than either the cusco or nismo, though.

Anyone going to 1/29 Nor Cal UFO event? I'm trying to decide what class to run. Technically my car is ASP but under UFO would be BSP. However I may just run OSP or XP. Maybe SSM?

Where are most of you Z guys with modified cars planning to run?
