Great run Curtis and Hal, thanks. Agree Pope Valley Rd was a good one for sure. Purple group was perfect for me in the beginning, but the meds kicked in and felt better so I up-graded myself back to Blue Group lol. That was a fun fun fun Group to be in for sure

I only got my camera out once today due to not feeling myself. Appreciate the comment about that Curtis, thanks. It was well worth it for sure. So here's the only pano I took. Lighting-exposer went weird on last two frames on the right, oh well.

Last photo stop on Hwy 20 before Cache Creek Casino.

I have not even begun downloading two 8 gb cards and a partial 2 gb card. It's gonna take all night to download Raw + Jpeg files = big files with a 15mb Canon 50D. Then there is the GoPro HD video footage.

Once again Curtis and Hal, another great run! It was well organized. The groups worked out well and Cindy and I had a great time! Brunch was awesome! Glad Pope valley worked out well. It really is a great stretch of road. Hopefully, you'll have some good Gro Pro footage. And Hal, carrot makes makes for a great sunday morning breakfast...FYI.

Thanks Chris, glad you had a good time, and it looked and sounded like your car was in tip top shape again.

Mucho appreciated, will have this photo as the headliner for the article. With credits given to the photographer.

Thanks for the kind words. I was doing the happy dance every time we stopped because we were exactly on time. I am going to use this staging technique on future runs. Brunch was awesome even though I never seem to finish, I wonder why....two guesses. I loved that little town at the fork in the road with the old rustic store and the auto garage across the street. They made for some good backdrops. Next time maybe we can schedule a stop at one of the vineyards.

Just finished downloading all 700 photos, gonna view here in a bit, but with another great weather day I think my hammock in the backyard is calling me. Still have to view the GoPro, but hoping for something I can cut up and edit for a short 1 minute upload. Yummy, carrot cake for breakfast! In for your photos. Again thanks for joining us on another adventure!

GREAT turnout and day .. Thanks to the organizers ! Runs were awesome except, for a couple of those deep cracks that took a hit on my ride. Met new and old faces. Also, thanks Curtis for the invite at the Creek for dinner. See you guys at the next meet.

The new route at end was even better. Thanks for organizing. I must say your car handles great. I just went with my own pace later - couldn't catch up. What suspension set up are you running?

Thanks Albert, this was the best organized run to date. Was it on Hwy 128 that you took the hit? It's a rough road and I was dodging dips thru out that portion of the run. New route on Pope Valley Raod much smoother and only a few bad spots.

We had a great dinner at the Creek and I finally got a chance to talk to you. These runs to run smooth require my full attention to all the details hence it might seem that I neglect people, forgive me as I am working hard to make sure everything goes smooth. It's not until dinner that I can relax and talk.

Hope to see you on Aug 13th, the flyer is already posted and the sign up list is growing.

Thanks for joining us on your second run of mine and hopefully not the last.

Agreed, Pope Valley Raod was the best portion of the run. Good to see you again Jun, it's been too long. Sorry we did not get a chance to catch up on old times, busy with the time tables and making sure no one was left behind. Your car looks great as usual, any new mods?

Thanks, the car recently made another transformation on the suspension. Dumped the Eibach springs for the recent released Swift springs, much better handeling and they dig in better than Eibach. Also some new treads which are very sticky. Potenza RE-11's. I really did not see you drop back in the curves, you hung on my **** like glue. You are just being too kind. Even Josh said later that if you push me I push myself and I saw it alot with you pushing me, but I was never out of limitations. Oh and stock shocks...it's the Swift and those sticky tires. Thanks you were to easy on me. If you had been on the Feather River Run then Josh would have really got your adrenaline going, he said he slowed down for me....wonder why with over 500whp on his TT.

On the next run, I will make time to chat, yesterday was proving grounds for me to keep us on a tight schedule and finish the run earlier than originally planned.

Save the date -Aug 13, the flyer is already posted.

Thanks again for joining us yesterday, hopefully you made it back in decent time with the route we suggested to get you back to the bay area.

Update on my photos....total taken 643. Still sorting out the junk ones and touch up only on the real bad ones, either over or under exposed. For about 90% of them with the great lighting we had (slighty cloudy) made for some perfect contrasted photos with rich colors.

Oh....I took the Pope Valley Run again today and all the way to Cache Creek Casino...total 2.5 hrs in my arm chair watching the video on the 73" DLP screen.

I cannot say when I will be able to edit and upload to the tube. It's been over a year since I dabbled with Vegas Studio, not even sure my version will edit HD video 60fps 1081p. But on the big screen with direct feed from GoPro NTSC HD even the scenes with the "you know who" were in there, and one did pull around and follow tail gunner -Hal and Joe (260Z) for several miles before turning around with a tow truck to go back to the accident with the motorcycles. I think he turned around for both us and the accident...A close one, but it's all there and pretty darn smooth footage. Hwy16 Capay Valley Road looked awesome with the narrow canyon and the river running. I did not see the Bridgestone squirrels in the video even though I dodged about 5 of them within the first three miles on that hwy.

I see. Not much new mods except for spider web on my rear right spring. Didn't drive it for a long time. I'm sure this run cleared it out. I did get new leather seats cover though. It is a base model. So, leather is new to me.

Yeah, I would like to go next runs. But work schedule is making it a bit difficult.

Some photos from the run. Hey Curtis, if you happen to have Charlie and Pam's email could you forward the link to them. I don't think they are on this forum and may enjoy some of the pics I got of them. Thanks.

Hey Curtis if you need some help with the video let me know. I'm running a couple year old version of Adobe Premiere Elements but it combined with the horsepower in my desktop system should handle that easily.
