Saw my old 2006 Redline Z
I actually saw it about 2 months ago at Walgreens in Cotati. I know it was mine despite the GAY Chrome rims the 40'ish chick had on it.
I was standing in line waiting to pay for my stuff and saw a red Z drive by the front doors, with a spoiler that looked like the one I had. I thought Hmm I wonder. Sure enough she parked about 3 cars away from my truck. I knew it was mine because it has the same Daytona rear spoiler, Tommy kaira **** that was red locktite'd on, Carbon lip, Nismo cat back, My shorty antenna I made from 2 different antennas, the calipers I painted and she had the same blue splined lug nuts I had on it. She did get a personilzed plate for it but don't recall what it was. Was non Z related.
I didn't know it was a she till she came out of the store. I didn't say anything because the dealer I sold it to, I told him it went in for a new shortblock due to oil consumption but I don't know if that was ever passed along or if she did a Carfax. Plus most people would look at me and never guess I would have owned a flashy red sportscar.
By the way I don't even miss that car. This was the first vehicle I ever sold and actually saw after the fact. Was wierd... I should have taken dcell pics but I was yaking on the phone as she drove away.
