But the 2 month notice helps get the word out there so people cant make excuses unless it is a yearly trip or something that they already know is going on. For the rest it gives time to ask for the day off if they work weekends.

but OK ill probably set up the next one for April, so ill probably make a thing next month

1.5-2 months is a pretty good forewarning unless you wana do this bi monthly and make it like the first saturday of every month or every other month....then people will just expect for it to occur...just a thought.
