If its confirmed, when is the So cal Track event? Does anyone know? I thought it was early march as well. I think I would rather go to thunderhill though.

Yes, we got the 350Z Track day at Streets of Willow Springs on March 5th confirmed. For those that are hard core, you could do the Friday, March 5th date @ Willows and then head up and track it again on Monday, March 8th at Thunderhill.
Look for the registration for Willows info on the general Z Coupe/Roadster forum or go to this link:

Yuichi, how hard core are you?

Hey what's the A class like? Is the instruction pretty good? I'm gonna get some track time this year and if I went to this it'll probably be my first track event (non motorcycle,) so I'm looking for something that's laid back with good instruction.
I think it would be great if we got all the forums, Z clubs, major venders/sponsors, magazines such as sportZ mag., and got a track schedule going where everyone works together to form, and promote these events. Heck, maybe even Nissan would like to sponsor them? Maybe I am dreaming but it seems like a win-win situation to me.
Anyone have feedback?
Oh, yeah remember, March 5th, willow springs for those wanting and willing...

DeludedBuzz- Beginner class is pretty laid back. The group would have everything from serious beginners to casual drivers who just want to drive their car on a track. Passing Zones are designated and the dirver in front of you must point you by. The instructors will work with you and ask you what kind of driver you want to be- they will then instruct you accordingly.
Jeff- I think that is a good idea. Do you have any ideas on how to pull these multiple forums together? Possibly a website dedicated to track events?

If we had 6 events, that is one every two months. You could have each sponsor get their own event such as the Performance Nissan October track event or the Greddy Track event in November.
The sponsors involved would get a lot of positive exposure and have their own track day plus ability to advertise on the other 5 events for example.
If we did timed and just pleasure type runs both depending on the session, those things could be determined later. I think some Z owners would just enjoy learning to drive their cars better and meeting with fellow Z owners while others might want to have a portion of each track day targeted for timed runs/competition etc.
Maybe they could give discounts to people that register for more than one event? There is a lot of options. We just need to get the sponsors involved and make sure it is a win-win situation for Z owners and sponsors.....
I am wondering if this should turn into a seperate thread to "measure the interest level"?
