There is already a Bay Area Z Association, which holds meets and cruises, along with a yearly meet that brings out 40-50+ Z's... Why would you basically choose the same name? I am all for groups and helping organize meets, but BayZa has been around for years and is basically its own little growing family of 250ish people. Is there any way we can convince you to changing your groups name to something that is less identical?

I believed that was brought up before when that group was still new but he didn't bother to change it.
There is also Norcal Nissan/Infiniti Drivers Group
and

There are all sorts of FB Z groups.
Z Owner Connection is not based on the Bay Area and is not limited to any specific Z model. Infact the owner of Z Owner Connection owns an s30 and s130 I believe. It is purposely set up as a FB for Z enthusiasts .. with no club affiliation (like ZONC or BayZa or ???)

Above are people who are not Z32, In BayZA, Complaining about the similarities in the name.
Bay Area Z Association (BayZA) has all years of Z cars, with people coming to our large meets from Santa Ana to Yuba City.
Having another group in the same area named Bay Area Z is very confusing.
I have tried bringing this up several times while your group was first forming and before any investments were made on stickers and t-shirts, however I have been ignored.

BayZA from what I remember started with a big Z32 member base off 300ZX forum (at least that is when/how I noticed the group). However, I have also noticed Z33 & Z34 (along with older Z platforms) joining as BayZa's popularity has grown.
Either way, I have no dog in this fight as Im not associated with either of the 2 groups. This was just my opinion and carries no weight
GL to both of the groups and hope for the sake of the Z enthusiast community that you guys can settle your differences in a civil manner.

I was there when BayZA was forming .. (at that time I questioned - why they just didn't join ZONC, which has a significant bay area membership - and still does) .. growing and changing over the years.
