sorry guys/gals, I was out of town last week so didn't get to log in too often nor had time to work on the GP. I'll try to get some kind of pricing this week.

ok, checked a few places and the best price I got was from Gruppe-S. Local vendor too!!

I'll post another GP thread in the GP section. So the continuation of this group buy should be on that page!!

This is the price for the Cusco front and rear sways
it's $380 tax included for local pickup. (California price)

(it calculates out to about ~$351 without tax since we all live in California we get to return part of the car tax refund back to the state... ~sigh)

It will take about 4-6 weeks.

currently I have the following list: (if I left you out, post a reply.)

1. Whatever (In)
2. Moodie (In)
3. mgl (pending on price)
4. apharmdb (?)
5. Bz8 (I know you want at least one!!)
6. yobri (pending price)
7. Z-***** (maybe pending stiffness?)
8. I2h8BMW (pending price)
9. apharmdb (pending price)
10. fisherprice (pending price)

also, I'm trying to work out a group installation price with gruppe-S so for those that are not daring enough to DIY, you can get them installed at Gruppe-S at a discount. Other options are StageMotorsports and Kartoyz as well... (let me see if I can work out any deals...
with powertools and a lift, the installation shouldn't take that long.

Regardless, I will try to setup another sway bar installation tech day at a location to be determine when most of us recieve the sways!!

hey, worst to worst, we can come to my place again for pizza and beer tech day

Default Thanks Dave...

While you're at it, I spoke with Brandon at Gruppe-S and there is a GP going on for the Fujitsubo Legalis Exhuast for $725 and Y-Pipe for $350. For local pick up, he'll waive $25 shipping, so that'll be $1050 plus tax. May be I can get both the Cusco's and the exhaust system together..........

ok, just got off the phone with Brandon at Gruppe-S. The price is actually $380 + tax and not $380 tax included.... It's $15 cheaper then their clearance price posted on their site not counting tax. Most Cusco prices are in the $415+ range.
I worked out the deal for $400 tax included (local pickup only) but that would require all 10 of you. So you are getting the sways for ~$370 + tax. This deal is only good for local pickup only.

So the Final price is $400 Tax included (local pickup only).

Please reply here if you are still interested. Once we get 10 people, the order will be place and it will take 4-6 weeks.

For those that can't come to south bay to pick them up, I might be able to pick them up for you and bring them to the meets.

Anyways, please post here and pm me your screen name, first name, and e-mail address if you are ready order. Once I collect all 10 names, I'll let Brandon know and you folks can contact him for payment options.

Sorry guys I wish I could be in on this, just found out today too from my accountant that I have to pay federal income tax . Plus get this, my car insurance will be going up to $3,600/year . So, I'm going to have to hold off on mods. Wish I could have helped you guys out with the group buy. Goodluck with the group buy Dave.

Sway bars are an easy install- Don't waste $175. If you can't do the install yourself or don't know how- I will install for a 6-pack of beer (good beer).

$3600??? yikes...

no worries guys/gals, I know the savings on the Cusco are not as much as we would like to see, but from all the people I talked to, the Cusco sway margins aren't that great so price are hard to cut. Hopefully we can still get the full 10 sets, if not, I'll see if Brandon @ Gruppe-s is willing to still do $400 tax included for however many that is left.

A little pricey for my preferences as well... around $300 or so would've better fit my budget.

Come on guys, for those that are on the starter list at least have some courtesy and post a yes or no reply. Dave put in the effort in trying to put this group buy together for our benefit, so put some effort in on posting a reply.
