Michelle, you forgot Marin in the mix... pretty damn expensive there too. Just saw $2.49 at the Chevron I frequent in Mill Valley. And it's not even Summer yet...

How's the weather Henry? Is it cool, or pretty warm (perspiration warm)? When you doing the HID conversion? I just picked up a Hella kit from eBay for $350.

Yeah, I'm relish the DIY aspect of car maintenance/aftermarket, but I've been somewhat intimidated by this install (I do/have done all my own auto maintenance outside of engine/tranny mechanics, but working with electrical facets is not something that I've had a lot of experience with). Since others on this board have done it, I believe that I can accomplish the same. And since I have a beater ready to go (for work, etc.), if the install takes longer than I expect, I'm not out a vehicle, y'know?

I got the 8300K, so I'm gonna be bright and blue... you think I'm gonna get hassled by the po?

Default You ain't seen nothing yet

You ain't seen bad yet, but it's coming.

Experts are predicting that gas prices could top $3 per gallon this summer based on the recent cut back of production by Opec and other factors.

Ironically my Z is my HIGH mileage vehicle. (compared to my Durango which gets like 16 mpg highway tops.)

Darn, guess I will have to drive the Z more. The sacrifices I make for fuel conservation. . . .

honestly, yes i think you will get some unwanted attention from the cops. but then again it really depends on where you go. hmmm.... from my experience, stay outta daly city and millbrae (well at least at night) those guys will pull you over for anything. (i've been pulled over by the same millbrae cop at least 3 times for exhaust, which was 50 state legal...but i still had to go to court) i've also heard that fremont police can be very picky when it comes to mods, but i haven't had any experience with them. well good luck... with the install and the cops.

To make things worse, they just approved the toll increase on 7 Bay Area bridges. We'll have to pay $3 to cross the bridge starting July 1st.

The news about three or so weeks ago reported the contemplation of a $10 toll for the GGB.

Smile It's your girl Rie, checkin in!!!

Gas prices are crazy down here too! whenever i would go down to so cal, i'd always tell my friends, "damn you guys are lucky premium is so cheap down here!" but i filled up jaymee for the first time on sunday, since i've been down here, been conserving my gas since the drive down, so when i went to fill up, i was like ... thought i was in sf or something, it was $2.47 where i filled up and other places i saw $2.49 up to $2.54... *sigh* luckily school is like 3 miles away, maybe even 5, but good thing i havent been driving around too much (yet!) hehe! well everyone, hope you all are doing well up there, looks like we're actually gonna have some sun for a couple days here, so i need to go grocery shopping and run errands... take care, drive safe & bye for now!!!

I don't know how much other areas gas cost as to date, but I filled up yesterday at $2.37 a gallon. We are at the mercy of the gas companies. I'm thinking about getting a hybrid now.
