Default Leguna 6/7...

DGale's <dgale@surewest.net> wrote:
Hello TMR Drivers for Laguna on June 7,

A quick note to inform you that the 105db sound limit we had access to at Laguna on June 7 has now been reduced back to 92db. We can all thank the staff of some other competing organizations who made calls to the track and complained 'why them and not us'. Now, nobody will get a 105db day, including the Mazda SWC Race Teams that were planning to come out and tear-up the track with us!(you know, the sponsors of the track!)

This was a rare opportunity to get drivers with louder cars out on track to have fun without having to 'lift' coming out of turn 5.

I'd like to personally apologize for this unexpected change. It took a lot of effort to get the 105db day initially set-up, and I'm very upset that the track pulled it due to 'whiners' from other clubs.

Please get back to me and let me know if your are still interesested in attending at 92db.

Best regards,

Thanks,

Doug Gale

Guess what i did...

Dennis,

I'll put you on the pre-release list and let you know when it's officially open.

Thunderhill on 5/21 with the bypass at 5a. Anyone want to do this or should we all shoot for Laguna on 6/7. I need a track day in the next month or two.

Next weekend event with TrackMasters is: Sears Point/Infineon - Sunday, August 22.
Most of the events are schduled during a week day (usually Friday or Monday) in order to keep costs down. Track rental prices jump dramatically on the weekends.

Don't you have any PTO saved up zuddenly?

i have PTO, but i dont want to use it for a track day... i like to reserve those for days i can actually relax. although fun, i find track days to be extremely tiring. maybe in the future that will change if i had extra dough to spare.

i hear that... i'm kind of annoyed at having been to thill a few times and never having been to sonoma.... which is so much closer.

the thing is... those thill days are right around the corner.... that laguna day is a ways away..... but yeah.... i'm definitely down for that as well

Anyone else considering Big Willow on June 4th?
Looks like a fast track which should be fun.
Far to drive but only $120 with timing too.
