well i guess ill start of by saying my name is royce, got my Z 2 yrs ago n was almost out of the scene, till i was introduced to this site, now back into fixing up my Z. im not new to the import scene, but im new to the Z scene. but ya nice to meet you all n i guess ill see you guys at the meets.

new owner of a 2007 PPW base.(no pics cause Im sure we all know what it looks like) Livin in the east bat (walnut Creek) Been lurking around here is I got my Z back in May. Its my weekend car only 2k on the odometer. Getting alot of good info here. Hope to meet up w/ all ya all some time soon.

Been into cars most of my adulthood. owned everything from a 89 Turbo Supra, 93 Rx7 TT, 86 Corolla GtS w/ 3SGE swap, and now the Z.

2004 350Z in Petaluma

I've been quiet and just observing , but I have lots of questions. Be patient with me as I love my 350z I just never took the time to understand cars. Yes I'm a girl. I have been known to race a few times at the race track. I think my clutch is unhappy. I only notice a glitch when excelerating without shifting. She has about 38,500 miles. I can't go and blow off steam with a potential clutch issue hanging over me. My question is about how much should I expect to pay for a new clutch? Any recomendations for replacements? First time poster of anything so I hope this ok to ask here. Thanks

 

Welcome! I'm in SR and work at ssu in RP. (Black 03). Call the dealer to see what a clutch replacement is going to be. I don't know anyone up here that I could recommend. Z Car Garage in San Jose does outstanding work, but that wouldn't be to easy for you to deal with. A few of us here race at Infineon on

Thanks for the advice .Just got her back and she is ready to fly. Of course the $1400. estimate turned into $2300. with the flywheel. Oh well , She rides like the wind again.

 

If you get a chance take her out to Infineon tomorrow 8/15 there will be some Z's there.

 

Have to work to pay for the clutch this week , but I'll be there 9/5. Hope to see you there.
