Default Some Z drivers just don't get it!

How many times have you tried to show some love to another 350Z owner and get nothing in return? Or how many times have you seen a Z driver that thinks he is too cool to look at anyone? Or how many times have you had someone in a stock Z rev their engine like they have something special? Do they not realize that they have the same car as you and are not impressing anyone? Am I the only one that notices these things or do you guys see the same?

I am guessing "those people" are not on the board because they would understand things like this. Just a pet peeve

man that kind of stuff happens all the time. Most of them don't realize they are driving a 350Z.

Talking Got a simple answer for you

Unfortunately not everyone that buys a Z is an enthusiast. It just happens to be the hot thing now and as soon the next hot thing comes out people will trade or sell their 350Z.

2nd generation Z owners are very enthusiastic however once the warrenties are up and they get a good price break on them

For the 350Z I would say only 5-10% of the owners are die hards

POWER TO THE Z ENTHUSIAST

ok i'm done blabbing..

Well Like Chad said at the HIN show, about 90% of people use a car simply as a device to get from point A to point B. And sadly, this also includes many of the 350Z owners. They just don't share the same enthusiam as us Z addicts do. How Sad

Happens to all of us. Check out the Bay Area Z Sighting thread... see how many times each one of us says "no luv"

I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Henry, you can take my $0.02 from this post to help with your Modena/Vanquish fund. Just make sure you get one with VDC! Just kidding...

No luv = Non-enthuZiast.

Happens to me all the time. In fact MOST of the time. Z31 & Z32 drivers on the other hand do seem to show the luv as long as I'm driving the same car as theirs anyway. No luv otherwise.

New pic of my lady's.

Yeah, i know what you mean. There is another kid here at school and some guy around the area and I've given a little wave when passing them but gotten nothing. I even gave a 300zx guy a wave and he didn't do anything. I've driven around in my sister's wrangler before and its just not comparable, cause everyone in a wrangler waves at each other.

you guys don't know how bad it is with the G35 drivers.. i try to wave at them, and i either get no feedback at all or dirty looks (mostly from sedan owners hehe).. but yeah, most G/Z owners could care less about the car they drive..

On the way to work every once in a while I catch a woman in a 300ZX and try to flag her down. She never turns around to wave or anything and always has that look on her face like she's better than everyone else on the road. I hate that! .

Now whenever I see her, since I know what to expect, I get next to her and stare merely for the "annoyance effect"

Another time I caught a woman in a red 300ZX going home from work, but have not seen her in a while.

**BTW, Bixby, nice picture! Very pretty! I can't believe you didn't get the 350 in redline

Try living where no one ever waves at you. They lok at you like you belong in special ed. When I went to California I never got right next to another Z, so I still got no luv. Well I take that back got next to a new Z owner on the 10, but I think he was concentrating. His passenger waved though I guess that why I check out this board daily so I can feel the luv from my Z brothers and sisters.

I like the darker shades of red. The Z31 is a dark burgundy (I need to pull the invoice to confirm the "official" color) and the Z32 is Cherry Red Pearl. It was very bright out so they look lighter than they actually are.

Thanks!!

I'll wave regardless, but yeah I agree...no love in the community. When I ride with my friend who owns a vette he ALWAYS gets a wave. That's ok though, I'll just keep waving until someone waves back LOL
