sometimes i rev my engine to give props because my windows are tinted 20% silver so it is hard to see me but when the top is down i wave or knod but i do agree a lot of z owners i see on the freeways just don't wave

 

I'll do a hazard flash sometimes after I pass them
One guy flagged me down after that to ask about my wheels.

 

kosta157, I never thought of it that way. I always thought of it as an obnoxious thing. Especially when the person has that "I'm too cool look". Some people act like their car is better, when it is the same car. But on the other side of that you have grandma who bought the car because it was "cute". Pick your poison.

But I give everyone on the forum props for input as well as trying new things on their car for everyones benefit.

 

I've gotten some love on I-95 towards Miami coming from the opposite direction once!!! He flashed his lights at me (and no, there wasnt a cop sitting on the side of the road down a ways...hehe). And I'll be honest with everyone, I bought my Z for the looks and performance (it performed a heck of a lot better than my last vehicle). I had an interest in the 300zx back in 1995 but never pursued it. So this is my first Nissan. My last car was a 2002 Toyota Celica (with the action package). I miss my Celica, but I LOVE my Z!!!

 

i only do it with the top up, i do it to grab cute girls attention and other then that i try to give props to all z owners i encounter.

 

I may sound like a dork, but I do make an effort to either slow down or speed up just to wave hello

Not a dork, just a friendly enthusiast showing heartfelt camaraderie. I do the same. Its rewarding when they reciprocate with the same response. It hurts when they see you and simply turn away, or worse yet, ignore or even avoid you.
