Land or air...??
prolly a stupid thread to start...but what would you do....
Situation: SoloTrip to Washington in the next 3 days
Modes of transportation: Southwest funfare Coach $195 r/t or strike in the 350Z $40 tank/1600 miles r/t
Sup guys, i got time off work and i'm headed to Washington to wish a safe trip to my cousin who may be headed to Iraq 1st week in June. He is a Army Medic who I am very proud of. What I would like an opinion on is, what would be a better deal? a) flying out + renting a car b) driving out for 10+ hrs but have your Z with ya...
i also may take a trip to BC to check out the arts & shops (gear + coffee =)
is this a waste of time & money driving?
or will the fact of having my Z in another state/country be cool..
peace..!

When I lived in SoCal I drove to Portland and back on two separate occasions (before the Z). Long drive but very nice once you get to Redding and north.
I guess the real question is how long are you planning to stay? If you're only going for a few days then I would say fly so you're not spending most of you time driving. If you're going for a week or longer then I'd say drive (you'll probably miss you're car and end up wishing you had taken it).
BTW- Please wish your brother good luck and thank him for all of us.
