Default Dyno Day at Dynolabs in San Ramon?

I want to dyno my car sometime in June. Dynolabs in San Ramon is the closest to me. I was thinking either June 5th or 12th. Is anyone else interested? If so, I will reach out to Dynolabs to see if we can get a group discount.

I'd join ya but i dont think i wanna know what my bone stock Z produces... (Hmm, well maybe just to see how much the K&N Filter and the Grounding Kit adds) We'll see

Thanks Henry, I will have to check that out. Jason at Performance Nissan is trying to get me to buy cams. $1950 for JWT cams and install if I want to drive 350 miles to do it. I am thinking about it real hard. I still haven't decided if I want to go strictly N/A or get a TT kit down the road. I guess I could pretty much do every mod except headers and still do TT in the future. I just have this urge to go faster and faster!

yeah I can vouch for your need for speed Lou. I was pushing 100 coming back from hearst castle and you were still way ahead of me.

Out of town those 2 days. Maybe if it's after that.
If you're going to do the cams, go big Z-1 performance is coming out with the Nismo race cams someday I think.

Nismo race cams might be a little harsh for daily driving. People seem to be doing good with the JWT cams if the idle is bumped up between 850-900. I want to keep the car streetable. The same decision comes up when I decide to get a new flywheel and clutch. The Tilton is awesome, but a liitle extreme for daily use. If I go down to Performance Nissan to do my cams, I am sure Jason will let me drive his car. Decisions, decisions. I just hope my wallet can keep up with my ambition.

3 pulls for $45 bucks ain't bad. Henry and I can go head to head as I don't have any mods, aside from royal purple in the engine, tranny, and diff. lets see what happens.

Speaking of speed, not to mention any names, SEAN, but I am not the one who hit the rev limiter at 160mph!

you guys know if when you pay for 3 pulls, you have to use all 3 yourself?

not sure if you would have to use all three pulls. The dyno day date really depends on getting more mods myself. I think I am going to hold off on cams for now and get HF cats and a lightweight flywheel. Can anyone recommend a person to install the flywheel? And don't give me, "check the shop directory thread". I want someone who has done it before and will do it at a good price. Thanks!

I'll watch for a firm date...I'm interested. The 12th would work better for me.

Okay, it looks like people are interested in a June 12th date. I will call both dynolabs and modacar to see who will give us the better rate.

Forget Dynolabs. It is $100 for three pulls. I am inquiring about other places.

Okay, I just checked with ATP and they only dyno during the week unless I can get 10 or more people for a weekend day. During the week it is $65 per person. During a dyno day it would be $50 per person. I am going this Friday. I will be there at 5:00pm. They have a block available from 4-6pm and can fit 3 cars in. If anyone else is interested, let me know and I will have your name added.

I just checked with modacar and they quoted me $40 for three baseline runs. The are only open during the week and are booked for this week. I may try to go next week in the evening and save myself $25.
