Default Nor Cal Dyno Day SIGN-UP sheet: Aug 14th or 15th

The offical sign-up sheet is over at G35Driver.com

Official Dyno Day Sign-Up Sheet

Please post your name and choose your date, August 14th (Sat) OR 15th (Sun) OR BOTH.

If we can get 5+ cars who want Sunday, we will go to APEX in Santa Clara. If we can get 10+ who want to go either Saturday or Sunday, we will go to Modacar in Livermore.

NOTE: I will be collecting $10.00 deposits once we get an official date and location from everyone who signs up. This way I can ensure we get no flakes.

DEADLINE TO SIGN-UP IS JULY 31st!!!!

For those who do not want to sign up for an account over at G35driver, just PM me your name and date you can go.

APEX: $75 for 3 runs on Dynojet with A/F
ModaCar: $35 for 3 runs on Dynojet with A/F (I have no idea why these guys are so much cheaper)

Once we get the minimum required people to commit, I will call these companies and schedule.

Thank you,

Vinh

I still havn't had a chance to dyno my Z, and would like to see what she's putting down.

Anyone else up here in the Way North Bay(tm) wanna caravan down to this?

If I remember correctly, we had one a long time ago for like $50 for 3 pulls?
can't remember if it was at dynospot in San Jose or atp in fremont.
I would prefer Santa Clara as well
would like to find out what the amuse exhaust really put out
any chance to get Apex to come down on price with more cars or these other places? I can probably get you some names if you want to do the leg work

yeah...get me some names and I'll do the leg work...

it didn't sound like the prices were negotiable when I got the quotes, but I never asked.

looks like we have about 8 people signed up...

let me know if any of you guys here are interested.

Do you have any info on this? Seems weird that a common model dyno would have such issues...

it just what i heard from some friends. i've personally never been there to dyno. i've only been to modacar a few times and that was when they were still in pleasanton. i don't mean to discourage anyone from going there or anything, but i just wanted to share what i heard. but hey for $35 thats a great deal, and even if it isn't all that accurate, i'm sure its pretty close

Don't think you'll ever find what you're looking for. There are so many combinations that can be had, nobody is going to dyno it all. You might just have to take the individual component numbers and add together for an estimate. Sport Z magazine did an exhaust dyno last year with 4 aftermarket and the stock.

"Dyno nbrs wanted, intake & exhaust" then describe what you're looking for. Be specific as some will have headers too. Also suggest you spend the time and do a search under "dyno". There has been alot of info posted already.

yes and you also need to consider everyone's dyno will be different, just because they put out those numbers, doesnt mean you will. every car is different
