Pics of Mt Shasta All Datsun/Nissan meet
Wow what a weekend! The UFO All Datsun/Nissan meet at Shasta was a blast. There was a great turnout and plenty of driving. We started out at Thunderhill on Thursday and each group got five 25 minute runs + a 45 minute free for all at the end of the day. I was on the track for about 40 minutes straight on the last session and ended up boiling my Motul 600
We then drove up to Shasta after the track which ended up taking longer than planned (explaination below).
We spent most of Friday running a Gymkhana which involved driving 20-25 sec. autocross course while your copilot swang a bat at five different batting targets. You would incur a 2 second penalty for each missed target.
Saturday started with a car show which brought out some bad a$$ Datsuns and Nissans of all years. After the show the parking lot was opened up for an autocross.
Anyway- here are the pics- hopefully we can get some better turn out with the 350's next year
My 350 and Donna's cooling down in between sessions at T-hill:

Alvin's bad a$$ Roadster with SR20 swap courtesy of Z Car Garage. Alvin won Best Roadster at the show
:

Rob's sick 400+ hp 510:

The Silvias. The one in the back blew an intercooler tube on the track and started to shoot flames out the exhaust. Unfortunately his bumper caught on fire. Although he actually worked up a "homebrew" solution and fixed it once we got to Shasta :

Craig's insane 300TT:

About 30 minutes out of T-Hill Rob's 510 started to spill fluid. We pulled over and discovered that one of his coolant hoses had failed so we pulled off the freeway to take a better look:

Everyone was curious as to what was going on under Rob's hood:

Turns out the coolant hose was on the bottom side of the engine and hard to get to
Would we have to call a tow truck?:

Of course not, it is a 510 after all and Rob was able to swap the hose and get her running again. We offered to pee in the radiator to refill it. But Rob asked us not to pee on his 510 and chose water instead
:

Pic from Friday evening a the Shasta ski resort. The sky was absolutely beautiful:

The reflection of Paul's bad *** 240z on my door:

Z baby:

Another showing the evening sky:

I caught Craig checking out Rob's 510 thinking to himself "Aggressive!:

Another absolutely awesome 510 (there were too many to count). This one is Tom's:

Getting ready to head down from the resort to our hotels:

And finally a group shot from up on the hill:

Hope you guys enjoyed.

Yuichi- it was about 100F at the track and probably high 80's to low 90's at Shasta.
Dave- You might have trouble keeping up since I'm getting slicks in the next couple of weeks
I just can't handle the street tires anymore.
Hungster- come on out and join us. There are a few of us who track fairly often.
Everyone else- glad you liked the shots.
