Good place to buy Datsun 510?
I'v been looking, but can't find a good place. I just want a CHEAP 510 that has no rust, and is reasonably clean, straight body ect.
I would then go on to paint the entire car, interior work, wheels/suspension, and an SR20DET swap. I would have rob from Z Car garage do all of the work for me. Rob for those of you that do not know, has a Green 510, with an SR20DET swap pushing 334 rwhp and only weighs 2000 pounds!
I will be calling him but can't tomorrow. I just want something to keep me busy, and some things to look at while I wait to call him. To excited to wait!
Hoping I can get this project done in the $10,000 range.
What color do you guys think would work? I think a Lambo Orage would be exciting, but maybe a little to much " Look at me!"
Seal gray ( porsches gray color ) Some kind of midnight blue?

yeah, Rob used to be here in atlanta, and thats a sweet car he has. Yuichi, from Strictly Z was selling his a few months back. You might want to PM him and see if its still available. Word to the wise, get one in the best shape you can find, it will be much less expensive in the long run.
Yeah, 2003z beat me to it... hit up Yuichi... he still might have it
I'd love to see how well you'd take care of this one Jas... you'd make a classic look better than when it was brand new
