Okay, so I finally got my car back today... and it turns out that my car is being difficult. Some torque was gained through tuning, but the A/F ratio is still very rich. Unfortunately I am not, so I can't afford to let Rob play with it until it leans out.

The new exhaust is still new to me. I know I am in my car, but it doesn't sound like my car anymore. So I haven't decided if I like it or not.

 

So you want your old Miztress back?

 

I don't know, but I really don't have a choice because the Borla exhaust is already sold. I plan on going up to Stinson beach tomorrow. I figure a nice long drive should help me get used to the new sound.

Man, it sucked trying to go to the beach today. Stinson... no parking. Muir Beach... no parking. I wound up hanging out in Tiburon, which was beautiful,... but not a beach. Ohh well, I should have known. I guess the sharks didn't scare anyone.

Anyway, I think I do like the sound of my new exhaust. It sounds more like a race car than with the Borla and definitely louder. I will post picks soon.

 

The tips are definitely smaller than the Borla, but I like the fact that they are oval.

 

Hey Lou, ever think about getting a new rear bumper that would hug the tips a little better?

 

Gotta find one I like... that is the problem. But yes, the thought did occur to me.
