hey i know this might be a bit silly for some ppl, but considering i dust my Z every nite... , anyways... am visiting a friend this coming Labor day weekend, and i'm pretty sure we're gonna be cruising around in his 4 door when we're there... so i'm gonna have to park my Z for couple of days .... i'm not familiar with NorCal, but i'm sure everybody here is, so can someone suggest a close-by parking lot thats safe ? I know parking is hard to find in SFO, but you guys being local would know the safest spots... thanks! here's a map of where i'll be ...

 

if your z is highly modded, you can park at my house. i'll keep it "safe" . j/k

the area that you pointed out is near st. mary's hospital, usf and haight st.

its really tough to find parking around that area. there is street parking but the streets have a high flow of traffic. not to mention you might have to move the car every 2hrs on some streets.

there are covered lots, but not much near that location. if you can't find parking at st. mary's hospital. there some lots at CPMC (on california street) and at Japantown (on Geary blvd.)

I might be up in S.F. for that weekend. I have a commercial building with a gated parking lot. If you want and if you trust me, you can park your car in my garage but there won't be in and out. I need to know what day you are arriving, and what day are you leaving?

 

that area is not terrible but my friend did get his truck stolen there. I saw an ad on HWY 101 that sez 17 cars get stolen in SF every day. And I've had cars broken into in SF. So I'd be very leery of parking your modded Z on the streets. Plus some people are dicks and they'll key your car out of spite. And let's not get started on the subject of idiots who put door dings in your car or the fools who can't park and use your bumper as a guage for how far they can back up (SF has a lot of parallel parking). Finally, ALWAYS look at the street signs. SF City Gov actually relies on people getting parking tix to fund the budget. I think they write something like $200 mil in tix per year.

 

If you're willing to travel a little further, another safe garage with good parking to avoid dings, etc. would be on Mission and 5th... but it isn't quite the cheapest in Frisco though...

its not highly modded, but i do have 2g of audio equipment... i have lojack with the early warning system though ...
