FS: 2006 Evo IX (tarmac black) AMS tuned $20K, WI
Hey everyone, I am selling my Tarmac Black 2006 Evo IX. Priced at 20,000 O.B.O. I love this car to death, however it is my second evo and it's simply time for a change. The car
has just over 58,000 original miles on the odometer. I have always taken excellent care of the vehicle and has never been smoked in. Includes
standard brand name parts on the evo including recaro racing seats, brembo brakes, momo stearing wheel, and enkei rims.
Aside from standard features my evo is heavily modified from stock. All parts were bought new and professionally installed. After the build
the car was taken to, the world renown auto shop, AMS in Chicago for a world class tune. The car was tuned conservatively on the new Mustang
dyno and put down 384 AWHP which translates to 412 on a standard DynoJet dyno. The mod list includes...
Cosworth Cams
Adjustable cam gears
ARP head studs
Turbo timer
Turbo back exhaust
1050 cc injectors
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Injen Cold air intake
Injen upper intercooler pipe
Injen Lower intercooler pipe
Perrin front mount intercooler
AEM digital guages
Boost
Volts
Oil temp
Oil pressure
Zextronic Wideband
Clear upper timing cover
Slotted rotors
sieben carbon fiber hood
Greddy Kevlar timing belt
HKS super sequential blow off valve
Forced Performance Red Turbo
84 mm
Ported head
18 psi wastegate
Upgraded oil feed lines
Forced Performance 84 mm intake pipe
Carbon Fiber Shift ****
AMS Tune 383 awhp 26 psi
Exedy stage 3+ clutch installed at 40k miles
brand new battery
I am an honest and upfront seller, I do not believe in hiding things from a buyer. There are a few minor flaws with the car, the first being
the only cosmetic flaw in that it does not currently have a front lip. Just two days ago I hit a raccoon on my way home from work and it cracked
right in half so we took it completely off.
I would reccomend a re-tune for the car to reach its full potential, but it is not required. Currently the car is running a little rich, NOT LEAN, causing it
not to reach full boost. However, I do have in hand the AMS dyno sheets to show what this car with the current build is capable of producing.
VIN #: JA3AH86C76U064095
If you have any questions please ask. My phone number is (920) 948-3032 feel free to call or txt. The car is located in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Thanks for looking.

I'm really looking to get into an audi rs4 so I would prefer to sell outright, however I will consider REASONABLE trades plus cash for my evo. (preferably unmodified cars so that they can be traded into a dealership)

Nice mod list.. My brother has almost the same mods (except on stock turbo) and put down very identical numbers on a mustang dyno recently..
Interested in trade for my 07 Enthusiast w/ 41k miles? Car came with nismo exhaust, I have added pop chargers but have stock intakes.. Added CF hood and CF roof and recently installed a double din and a 10" sub.. I could take the electronics out and put all the stock stuff back in if needed.. PM me if you're interested.

Thanks I've learned my lessons from other car i've had that you're just better off not skipping anything or "cheaping out" if you cant afford a full build WAIT AND SAVE haha

and as for your z on trade pm me some pictures please
But I'm an honest seller and that is why I put it in the ad so the buyer is aware the car could use a re-tune BUT all the parts are there to make good power.
Sorry about that the stock enkies come on the car the picture with the bbs is the only old picture posted. I'm the second owner of the car and he kept the bbs when he sold it.
ams is great theres no question of that...so by removing the turbo and running it n/a then putting the turbo back on it now runs rich and somehow that changed the tune? that doesnt really make sense, if it were tuned right then the tune would still be right..a tune is a tune and will not change because of that as long as everything went back on and is working as it should...im sure ur an honest seller not saying ur not but it all seems weird. Plus seems kinda crazy to run it around without the turbo on it and run that rich..glws

look, it is what it is. I've actually heard of several incidents of cars becoming "out of tune" that are tuned from several different shops. Modern cars have a sophisticated enough computer that they adapt to new conditions. For example, a car can become out of tune if it was tuned in say extremely warm weather and then winter comes and its very cold. similarly to adding or removing parts the car becomes used to the new air/fuel ratios and so needs a re-tune, its actually fairly common... but again I'm not here to debate with you I'm here to sell a car
If you are not interested in buying the car, please spend your time on other things.

I actually do know a thing or two and from what u have done the tune should not have changed...yes weather and things like that can affect things but taking the turbo off for some crazy reason and then putting it back on a week later is not going to change the tune..IMO there is something not correct if the tune was fine before the turbo came off and now its out of whack...Trust me ill move on with no problem cause somethings off here and makes me think the turbo came off this car for some reason other than stated.GL
dont know how u expect to sell the car without being able to answer simple questions

I actually happen to own a very successful restaurant based around good customer service.... I have had no problem answering anyone's questions completely and fully. HOWEVER your very first statement was both rude and implied something not "adding up" so no i do not have any customer service or polite response for you.
So I ask that this thread get back on track. If there is anyone serious about the car or has any further questions feel free to pm me
thank you
-Kevin
