I told her what days I wanted, she asked if I was coming with a grouup, I told her ZDayz, and she told me what she had available. She gave me a confirmation #, and said she was going to mail me a confirmation also. So, I better have a room! LOL

 

I called this morning and just to make sure they had my Cabana and i asked about the room availability and they said they had one room left for 79 bucks so maybe someone canceled late last night. I just kept my Cabana they told me it was only 111 buck so i figure just keep it than having the chance of them screwing up and not getting a room.

 

whatever they did, I'm just happy that you got a room.

 

They must know I own a helicopter cause they charged me $140+ for a cabana.....and told me no rooms........WTF?

 

Me too. I can't wait to go up there. I need a vacation!!!

Well next time you shouldnt tell them you are going to put it on your Black AMEX they automatically know your rich when you do that. All the different prices and availability of rooms is kinda making me worried. It sounds like they dont know what the heck is going on.

 

Well the Cabanas go for 179 peak season 80% of the is 143 and that is pretax. So depending on Sales tax and if the have a room tax your probably going to be in the mid 150s or more. There are more people signed up on G35driver, there is a bunch of people going.

 

Like I said, you got the best deal of all if you got your cabana for $111! Guess I'm going to have to meet more of the G guys before May.

 

Yeah Im not complaining about paying 111 LOL. But im sure they will make me pay what everone else is thats what they just said on the phone when we asked them.

 

some of us are heading up on Thursday and will spend the night in ATL to break up the trip.

 

As of now, I'm planning on heading up Wed. to go to Asheville to visit a friend. But May is still a long time away, so who knows...

 

Im probably going to leave at 1AM Friday and get there at 9AM Friday.

 

That sounds like a good plan to me.

 

Oh by the way Wes just called for a Cabin and the Cabins are now booked up. The only thing the have left is the Motels and the cottages

There is no cell phone service at Fontana Village so it's a good idea to get one of the FRS radios to communicate. The rustic cabins don't have phones.

 

Yeah, I thought that was pretty funny myself.........I guess they don't like to drive long distance.
