Hey guys, I was wondering... Out of them ppl going, are you gus going to be staying in Tampa for the weekend? Or are you guys driving back to Orlando the same night?

I only ask, because we are having a bunch of ppl coming up from Miami and Palm Beach, we will be getting a hotel and I was going to try an get a group rate. I just needed to know how many rooms we are going to be needing..... If anyone is interested in staying in Tampa, let me know....

I just got the email from HIN and it is like normal where roll in is the night before, leave the car and come back the next day... Just giving u the headsup.

Placement will be given on a first come first serve basis unless coordinated in advance. What this means is that you should arrive early. If a member of your crew arrives late, does not caravan with you, and is not in line with you at the time of roll-in, they may not be placed with you

Auto Barrel Racing (ABR) - Auto Barrel Racing is a brand new, innovative form of auto racing created by professional Hollywood stuntmen for the non-professional and auto racing enthusiasts. Anyone 16 years or older with a valid drivers license is eligible to compete in the ABR for a chance to win $5,000.

To effectively compete in Auto Barrel Racing you must have the ability to pitch, slide, and power your vehicle around the barrels. Gina contacted the guy in charge an asked about roll in same day. He said it wasn't a problem @ all. I for one will not leave my car in a parking lot overnight. I'll direct her over here to post what they discussed.

It looks really nice and for the money, you cant beat it.... and its only $89.00/night and they offer 1 and 2 bedroom suites for that price.... I called about group rates and I am waiting for a call back.... Once I have more information about it, I will def post it.

I got that same email but I believe it is sent out to all like an automatic email. Nate from HIN said if we all caravan and pull in and be at the gate at 11am, we should be fine to go in. After i got that email, i wrote him to confirm what he said before and I am still waiting on a reply as of now.

Quick question...... If I do the HIN Tampa on 4-25-09, do we need to do what we did in Orlando and park the night before and leave the car overnight? I know this one is outside and I would prefer not the leave our Z's outside. (mine and my husbands)Can you let me know the details of this event for competitors? I can't find the info on the site. The register form says "bad link".

Good evening Gina. I’ve attached the car registration form for you to complete and email or fax back to me. The event will allow load in on both days. 1 day prior as well as day of. Let me know if you have any other questions..

Then i spoke to him on the phone and he said we need to be "at the gate" at 11am the day of.


I am going to all him again now and see if I can't confirm this once more just to be sure before we all set a caravan and avoid hotels, etc. I will come back here as soon as I speak to him.

Ok, I just spoke to him. We are set for roll in the day of. He said that gates are not at a set time to open but as of now, it looks like 12 noon. I don't think it would hurt to keep the set time to be at 11am in front of the gate. Just in case there are others. he also said the time MAY change on the opening of the gate. He said he will not know until closer to the date of the event. He gave me a code for $10 for people of the 350z Club of Florida or Ozoc. I will send the code to Rich now and he can distribute it to his drivers. If you are not a member of the club, you can show with us and still register under the discount but will be parked and showing in our group. He asked i do not publish this code as he just set it for me over the phone for our vehicles only.
So, plan on the caravan and rolling in at 11am still?
