Default Painting Brake Calipers

Has anybody painted their brake calipers before? I was going to replace my brake pads this weekend, and figured I would paint my calipers yellow while Im there.

Hope it doesn't hightlight how small and puny my stock brakes are ;-)

Im excited to put on the EBC yellow stuff pads I bought. My one friend said he thought they might end up tearing my rotors up...has anyone heard anything like that?

I painted mine red using the G-2 paint about 4 years ago. They have held up remarkable well. I have the EBC rotors as well as the EBC Green Stuff pads and they seem to work very well. Virtually no dust. Most of the peeps here don't like the painted calipers but I think they look sweet.

Yea I used the G2 paint as well and it works well. But lets face it having actual closed calipers painted/powdercoated is way less rice.

Those yellow pads will make you go through rotors quicker than normal pads.. The only other thing about them is they have to heat up before they really start to work well.
