So I had to some way mount my plate and I can no longer use the Stillen tow hook plate holder (who wants it?)
So this was my idea: cut out the grill and make a bracket that will mount on the lip left by cutting out the grill.
One problem, F/N Safety!!! with it mounted there, the bottom is 8 inches (needs to be 12 inches minimum) from the pavement so it wouldnt fly. Not to mention the plate covered up a 3rd of the FMIC. So after fabbing a bracet I figured that out. So next I decided to offset the plate to the right so it wont block the intercooler and I can choose to mount it on the top plate hole or the bottom. Mounting the plate with the top bolts is not Safety passing so until I get my check I'll keep it on the bottom holes.
I went to Home depot and got Aluminum Angle Iron. Measured it out to fit the plate, linned up and marked the holes. Drilled out the holes reenforced the thin mounting side. Placed plastic spacers on bracket to keep the metal from scratching the paint. I ligned up the bracket marked and drilled the holes. All that was left was the mounting.
I'll try to get pics of the plate mounted lower to give you a look at how it sits.

+1 on the oddnest. i hear O'ahu is super strict about having a front plate on ur car, i've been running plateless on the front here on Maui for a year and a half they just straight up don't care here. are you gonna try and custom cut the bumper and add a lip like the black Z i posted on the other thread? i remember you trying to look for a bumper like that.

I moved the plate from the bottom holes to the top holes. It looks way better lower but still not like it was centered. I may try to cut the bumper, but not sure how to get the inner lip like he had. If I can get it that way I may think of doing it.
I'll take pictures of the placement in the morning.

I mounted mine to my grill, but your comment about the 12 inches from the pavement is making me concerned about my setup.
BTW, I think your offset mount looks good. That was one of the locations that I considered at first, but I couldn't think of an easy way to do that.
