June 18th meet???
so is it on? I know, I know, who am I to ask since I'm only a "maybe" to make it, but I'd like to throw out an invite to some G/Z owners who had previously inquired about the last meet and greet. so I believe this is the most current list, but I'd like to get some event specifics down. how does this sound?
11am meet up (on the west side of kmart next to the gardening section)
12pm roll out (drive out to Hawaii Kai, maybe do a turn around at sandys)
1pm meet at hawaii kai (coco marina) starbucks (talk story or whatevers)

hmmm.. I saw this over on forumshawaii.com and thought we might be able to do something similar since we do share near identical cars and should be able to share info with each other. but instead we meet up at 11am and roll out at 12pm so that we don't steal their thunder or infrindge on their meet. plus we can first choice on spots to eat

ok well I'm gonna go ahead and suggest plan 2 since I think it might be cool to see and talk story with some G owners and also the route seems better. I feel bad planning all this and I'm not even a guarantee to show up, but WTH no one else is doin it and I'm bored. I'm gonna go ahead and let some other folks know as well. so here's what I'd suggest.
11:00am meet up at main Kakaako parking lot (this is across the street from compusa and behind honolulu ford for those of you who don't know where the park is, call one of the other guys if you get lost)
12:00pm roll out
1:00pm arrive at Teddy's Bigger Burger (651 Ilalo Street, Kailua HI 96734)

ok, well its not like a pricey joint or anything. you aren't required to eat or anything. its just that last time everyone on the cruise ended up starving by the time we arrived at our destination. like I said before, I'm just trying to help organize something so its totally up to you guys.

Side note, throwing in a last minute change with distract and deture people from showing. Whats to stop us from meeting at the original spot, we roll out as scheduled and got to the starbucks. Grab drinks and those who wanna roll out and grub then proceded to do so. Those who dont thats the end of the road for the big cruise.
You'll get people now who are like which place, now I'm confused so I'm not showing. People dont like showing up with no one there so the fear is there. Lets just keep it at the Waikele K mart and roll that way. If you still wanna grub toby I'm down. It's easier for the group.

I am on Hold..
my freaking car wont work with me. I left it at the auto craft shop @ schofield. One of my Cat bolt is dam striped.. I've being working on my car all day installing goodies.. but this damn bolt placed the process to a hault. I'll get on it tomorrow at 9 am if I finish by 11 I'll be there before you guys roll out.. Waikele it is..

It seem's I'm mr. mechanic today. Had to skip with out a no show call. After unsuccessfuly helping aleok with his springs, they were a B!TCH!; and a friend asking me to help with his car broke on the side of the road; I missed the meet.
I guesse I'll hit it up in September when I get back.

ok so I went to sleep at about 4am sunday morning after partying at ocean's. then I dragged my hung-over a$$ up at 9:30am, gave my Z a quick washing, and made it out to waikele by 11:15am to find only one other Z there (ctwentytwo). I figured I better show up (even though I only said I MIGHT show) b/c I didn't wanna get ragged for helping to instigate a meet and not even show. sadly it was only the two of us. I see most folks had an excuse of some sort, although I don't know what senjen's or nizm350's excuse is.
