Default Vehicle reconstruction? What?

okay, just got to the Island, my Z just got shipped from Texas. my Z is lowered and has the try force kit, exhaust etc. I was told I need a vehicle reconstruction. Okay what is it? I'm tryna get my Z registered in Honolulu. Do I need it? and where do I get it?

All the info you need is over here... www.forumshawaii.net. It'll have all the recon info, where to go etc. And yes, you will need recon because of your suspension. That should be the only thing you need it for.

don't need to worry about recon for getting the registration done. however they will ask for a current safety check, which you can get at any service station. however they may not pass you because of the drop. given you have a valid out of state reg and plates then I'd ride on that till its near due to expire so that you don't have to worry about the recon. if/when you do need to get registered in hawaii. you will need to go get an alignment (I recommend island brake and alignment), then go get a recon inspection (you'll have to make an appointment and bring the alignment printout), then get the safety check, then you can get the registration done.

welcome to hawaii

Yes, military, coming from Korea. I may can get an Safety check without the recon inspection, I find out at 2:00. Just in case, where is the recon inspection done? at Island Brake and alignment? where and to whom do I make the appointment? sorry for all the questions but this recon thing is freak'n new to me. Thanks for all the info.

That's the specific forum that addresses the recon.
