Default 07 Z

i went to new city nissan this morning because my friend that works there told me they got the 07 Z in. The hood on the Z looks alright, but i wouldnt want one. The 07 comes with 306 HP @ 7,500 rpm, Im not sure about the torque though. The Z has a new twin air intake system, leading to a larger diameter, high flow exhaust. Besides those two changes, everything else looks the same.

the twin air intake

The specs looks similar to the 07 g35 sedan to me too. I test drove the new g35 sedan and wow it was pretty fast at full throttle. It didn't feel as "torquey" in the low end like the 03-05 z's but when you pushed it, it takes off. I believe the torque ratings are lower than the 03-05 z's from what I can remember.

talked to a sales rep last week, and they just got them last week. Even the AT/5 has 306hp/274lbs tq. The 6speed has 306/268hp. The power curve seems a lot pretty clean all the way up to redline. Seems like they beefed up the head of the engine, including the dual intake for a better top end. I think I might be trading in for one in the late spring.
