Well I have everything to get me to 500WHP. What I need to do is get the fuel mods installed(return kit, 550cc injectors and clips), load the base map for 550cc injectors into my UTEC and then get it Dyno tuned for 11-12 psi.

I dont know if the wastegate will screw up at that power level (it's only 38mm I think)

Pretty much it's gonna be up to the Tuner to get things running right and since I am the first to get a UTEC tuned on a 350Z in Hawaii (to my knowledge) and using the UTEC to control boost it might take a little longer the first time. However after it's all done I would imagine the fellow Z owners will have it easy if they decide on a UTEC.

The only problem I have is that sometimes the rear passenger side wheel is making a noise that I can't figure out.

Is it a ticking/clicking sound?

No its like a "quaaa quaaa" rotational sound that changes based on wheel revolutions. I changed the rear brakes hoping that would be it but it's not, lol.

How is the tire? Did you check pressure? Anything stuck in it?

No I ripped it all apart and even got the rotors cut a few weeks ago.

Due to bad shipping and overall bad luck my monster build has fallen way behind. I was gonna be the first but hey, you get to be the guinne pig on the UTEC for me.

Have you checked for rubbing or uneven wear? The noise may be tire related on that side. Also give the lugs a check just in case some may be comming loose. IT would make a slight noise but no wobble till its too late.

Yea I don't know and the smoke is still off and on. I wonder if I it's from a carbon build up or something since I haven't been getting the engine hot from WOT.

Might be the turbo getting tired too.

Anyway 705 miles will hit 1000 by next week. I was delayed because of the clutch drama.

yeah your telling me, Ive had my car in my posession 2 days since the end of september 06. Going on a big streak here.

But when its all said and done its gonna be great. with the new clutch, diff, the EDFC finaly working and Im getting every thing ready to install an oil cooler. Alos I finaly tracked down some billet aluminum narrow tanks to get rid of those bulky plastic one. Just need to clean a few things up and she'll be good to go.

Over all the only other major part besides the UTEC I nees to buy is the DEFI fuel pressure guage and she is set.

i would take off the wheel and inspect all of the lugs/studs and then when you reinstall make sure they are getting torqued to the proper amount. I had what sounded similar when i was in charleston SC and it was because the dealership totally ****ed up the studs, i had to have 3 of them on one wheel replaced.

So what guages are you gonna run?

I have a A/F, Boost, EGT and the fuel pressure with the return kit.

The UTEC displayes a bunch of car data like water Temp and knock.

So your gonna get an A-pillar trip pod guage then or you gonna try to squirlle away the guages in the console?

I have a trip autometer pod filled with Boost, A/F and EGT but the Sun/Heat actually deformed the pod and I had to cut it to get it to work for now. So I will probably end up buying another one later.

Man yesterday the smoke was real bad for about 20 minutes then it died down and stopped. I really wish I could figure out what it is. Everytime I check the Turbo I don't find any oil so I might just have to run it untill it craps out good and I can prove a problem.

I got a few small issues I need to check out so meh I might just schedule something with Seth all at once.

The wheel noise is gone again..lol I wish the problems would stay for more than a few minutes at a time so that I can find them and fix them. I tired to jack the car up and put it on stands while running in 1st gear to hear the problem but that didn't work cause it decided to hide...lol
