idk about going on the cruise... cuz cruises are usually bad news from my experience, but it'd be cool to meet some Z guys on Oahu. I might come stop by the jamba if you guys dont mind.

This cruise has nothing but trouble written all over it. If I was there (I'm in PI on business right now), I know damn well I wouldn't go. Think about it... there's gonna be a shitload of ricers mixed in with the people that just want to cruise, then you gotta worry about all the traffic since it's a day cruise etc.

3 years ago, it would be a much smaller crowd on a Hachi cruise. With the likes of Justin Kikkawa, Lance, Royce, Stan, and the others, that attitude was usually very mellow - which isn't to say it wasn't fun, because they were. Not sure how it is now - I've avoided cruises in general due to too much drama......but with the popularity of the Corolla.......

 

It is very unfortunate. I love cruising as much as the next guy, but you get some of those high school kids in there that just bought their first Honda and think it's fast and think they know how to drive (even though most didn't have a license when the track was open and you never see any of them at auto-x... or 95% of the people that think they know how toy drive for that matter)... that's the reason why most cruises I go on are with people I know and trust. We usually keep them small (no more than 20-30 cars) and if we decide to do anything remotely stupid we try and be as safe as possible. But most of us know our cars and what they're capable of, so we don't have nearly as much to worry about as some noob kid does.

This is one of the huge reasons why I miss the mainland. We don't have anything except auto-x at the stadium and they (HPD) expect people to act right. We need a ****ing outlet... Mike (Build The Track!) and/or SORT need to do SOMETHING. I hate seeing people being yanked out their cars at gunpoint on a weekly basis just for driving fast or rolling on a cruise.

Sorry for the rant... got a bit carried away.

All these cruise are going on while I'm this hell hole. 2 weeks left. I did not know that you can mess up driving. That's all a cruise is, well in a nut shell. The Army calls this type of thing convoys and all it is just following then car in front of you. How can you screw that up? I jut want to meet people that love the Z a much as I do without any worries of getting into accidents because some one wanted to show off. Well gtg shoot some more stuff, Latz.

 

It's never that simple. That's how you would hope the cruise would be. The only cruises I've ever been on that are relatively calm have been ones that either us (club808) host, the ones we've been invited to by the Z guys and the ones hosted by i-club.

It's easy to mess up when people think they can drive like Andretti cutting in and out of traffic and **** then end up clipping someone's car while driving slow in a long sweeping turn (even though they were racing, still going slow), which in turn sent the car into a wall.

And it's not the Z guys you gotta worry about. It's the other couple hundred assclowns that are gonna be there.

 

I'm definately down to go, but like bboy said how many cars are expected to be there? If it's like 10-15 mostly Z's i'm down but if we're talking dozens of cars then I maybe not...
