can i play with you guys? '73 240z. most of the work was done by a coworkers friend about 15 years ago. paint/body was done at united auto body. built for autocross, but he moved to the mainland and ended up selling it to my coworker. after a couple years, my coworker wanted to concentrate on his vw bug, so he sold it to me about 6 months ago.

lots of things have been done, (a lot of which i still haven't found out about yet). main stuff:
L28 from a 280z (not sure what's done internally)
4 pt cage
recaros
ssr reverse mesh

stuff i plan to do/add:
cusco f&r strut tower bars
watanabe rs8's or ssr longchamps
jdm fender mirrors
powdercoat all suspension
MAYBE zg flares (don't really want to butcher my cherry fenders)
either triple webers (have em in my apt) or rb25 swap

not sure which which way i want to go with the motor. rb swap would be absolutely animal, but it would take away the nostalgic aspect of it. still on the fence about it. what do you guys think?

glad to find some local z guys.

Hey bro, I was driving past you a few months back(I think you were coming from that show in Home Deopt Kapolei?) I'm in another club consisting primarily of 240z's, but we mostly see each other at the stadium. The FTD holding car is a 240z, should bring that beauty out!

^^^sradenton^^^

Hows the Kenitex cats treating you? I've heard of several people lowing those things out in a few hundred miles. The Cell substrait was apparently metal substrait that composed the honey combs was sub standard. Well in at least the first few productions.

Any Noticeable diffrence with the underdive and your accessories. There have been many people reporting flickering lights (03-04.5) when an aftermarket radio was going. The under driven alternator wasnt keeping up with the demand.

Last question, and please dont take it rude. Whats the deal with the voltage stabalizer and ground kit? What do they do, what are thier proposed benifits, and what are they made of. The vast majority of grounding kits on the market are made from non-shielded 6-8 guage wire with gold/pure copper connectors. Most of that stuff you can get fairly easily. I guess what Im getting at is why the combonation any thing special?

Sory just trying to learn and fill up my banks of useless knowledge.

Under drive pulley. ya notice a diff. in throttle response. still havent put the high flows yet.
http://www.racinglab.com/cysphyvosyuv.html .for more on cyber speed.
I love the sound of the header and exaust combo. cant wait to put the cats on Ive had them for over a year now. back in the states couldn't get no one to put them on because the car was under warranty. and for the alternator pulley. I was wondering the some when I bought them. and there's no diff. in the gauge.
