im gonna go right when it opens, take pics real quick and try be home in like 45 minutes for the UH game. lmk if anyone wants to meet up.

 

i work... too much of a sausage fest for me to be interested. it's all the same every year, too. same cars, same people. i'd only go to show dwayne my support (same guy that came with me on last week tuesday's meet), but i work. he's pretty much the only reason i go to shows...IF i go. and the hot girls that i know i won't be going home with would just leave me with blue ***** at the end of the night...

so it's a lose/lose situation for me lol!

 

i love cars!!! but I'm not missing the UH game for s**t. and i already have plans with my wife. i'm gonna try to go to a car cruise tonight. let me know if anyone is down!

 

so any Z's at the show?

 

i think there were 4 or 5 z's. I saw the baby blue looking 350 almost every night in waipio at what looks like a paint shop. I think the best was the silver one with the jdm tails.

Aside from the 350z, the show wasn't all that great to me. Good thing I got in free

 

thats what i thought was going to happen, any models worth mentioning?

 

My wife said it was worse than last year's show. We didn't get any of my club's cars in since we waited too long, but from what she said we woulda won some catergories. Thats... kinda sad for HIN. Not saying our cars suck, but they're far from show cars (like mine, for instance).

 

I agree. Not to say your car isn't show worthy. Many of the cars there to me looked like something you would see on the street minus the stickers and lights that were around them.

As for the models. Couldn't tell. GF keeps a close eye on me well she puts up with me looking......but not for long

 

LOL... I know what you mean about the models... my wife keeps a tight leash (can only get one look when she's not around).

Trust me bro, I'll be the first to tell you my car isn't show worthy. I build it for go, not show. Plus, my front bumper is f'd up and I got keyed. But like I said, it's sad that it can pass for an HIN car (was in the show last year... black Evo in between the main hall and arena). Even funnier, I got interviewed and got on TV. My car's been on TV 3 times since I've been in Hawaii (island Driver TV, Toys for Tots last year, and OctaneTV).

 

i didnt go but from what i heard before hand, asianracerchicks arc'd up Z was planning on entering and that guy who came to last tuesday's meet with the transformers Z entered.
wish I had got to see them but the UH game took priority.
