Default New Camera

So before my last trip I purchased a Canon 40D camera kit online that came with a boat load of stuff to include 5 (yes 5) lenses for the kit. I've been experimenting with macro and wide angle shots (not at the same time ).

As of right now I am plesently surprised with the capabilities of the camera so far. I just downloaded some trial software the will make High Dynamic Resolution (HDR) photo's. The detail on them is sooooo great that in the original photo of the one below you can actualy determine individual house lighting on the mountain side in the back ground.

Later today Im going to drive out to Ka'ena point to take some nature shots. And maybe taking some night shots of my car over at pearl. I'll post up any worthey results.

Below is a night shot of my parking structure that I took on a whim with out any real planning. I used the Auto Exposure Bracketing (AEB) setting on the camera to take pictures that could be combined to make an HDR shot.

I just started taking (making?) HDR shots also and have had mixed results. I guess there's a learning curve I haven't climbed yet.
