As Mentioned here are some pics from my trip so far. Still got a few days left here in Tiawan so Im gonna go arround this weekend and take some pics.
I have a few of the Jade market in Hong Kong as well. They are simply overwhelimng. Think the size of Sear with 7' wide rows filling up the area packed with all types of jade in the heat with just celing fans circulating hot, sweaty, stale air.
EDIT: All the shots are free hand, even the time exposure shots. A bracing object was used only to stabalize the camera and me some. By bracing object I mean a lamp post to hold me up or a railing to hold the weight of the camera body while I hold the lens.
EDIT EDIT: Oh and I did finaly get to see my GTR. I just pulled the camera out of the bag and put on the lens. The camera was still set up for my previous nights shots and there was a 2 second delay with a 4 second shutter speed. I push the button, nothing happened so I look at the camera and it snaps aas it moves up, then I realize its a long exposure and try and hold it. Um.... yeah not even remotely recognisable.

Yeah its taken about 8 years to get the steady hand and technique to get them fairly clear. Not to mention SEVERAL shots to get the right ones.
Plan on getting to the night markets this weekend. Gonna pick up a few things for some friends.

Got a few more. Most of these (above and below) have not been worked too munch in CS3. Only Auto: level, color, and contrast. So if any one has any ideas on how to make the clouds pop a little more in the fountain one and sail bridge one let me know. Like to learn more about post production of photos been out of touch with photoshop for along while. Just recently gotten back in to editing.

And last but not least, this little guy. It takes ***** to rattle can paint your car but it takes that little some thing extra to voice your opinion in spray...

I have a few more B&W "Life Style" photos from Hong Kong as well. And some random ones from arround diffrent places. But I promiss this is it for this thread. Not trying to make it into a photo show and tell.

Um not paying to get Gonasyphaherpalytus Symplex 12... I avoid those places on the road because I like my money and ***** too much. I stick to wondering arround aimlessly. Yeah boring life but normaly Im too busy to do too much else. Well except for taking pictures.
These trips are what I use to get my extra $$ for the car. Not saying I havnt thought about going out and partying but I like my car a little more.
Mike, just upgrade to CS3 or get Elements so you can Use Adobe's Camera Raw, which will pop up when you shoot it RAW.
BTW, only shoot in RAW. There are only advantages to doing this. You can download the CS3 trial from ADOBE. Try the various sliders like "Clarity" and "recover." It'll give your photos more 'pop.' Unless you try not to saturate your pics, I'd look into giving it more color depth also.
I'd play with the other sliders too so you get familiar with Camera RAW.

Yeah I have just about all my photos taken with Fine L + RAW but my CS3 isnt opening the files. I think it has some thing to do with the fact that Im on a trial version and need to get a key crack to activate every thing. Im 100% sure that even my best photo that I have will pale in comparison with its raw counterpart. I guess I need to get off my lazy **** and get that key huh? I may do that this weekend...
Actually, just download the latest Camera Raw Plug-In. Everytime a new camera is released, you need to update the plug-in, otherwise, the RAW converter won't recognize it.
