Default Suggestions?

Any suggestions on exhaust options? I still want the dual pipes, I was thinking Nismo or Bassani. I am soliciting advice. Also any shops that do quality work locally?

do you want a quiet exhaust or loud? would you consider doing a custom exhaust? nismo is not a true dual. not sure about bassani tho.

My Borla is true dual and sounds great. I've been thinking about selling it for a while now. let me know if thats something you might be interested in... There's tons of audioclips of it on this website.

I have Stillen test pipes with an X-pipe straight back to a Borla muffler. Nice sound when it's in idle (not too raunchy) and nice to listen to when I launch. You can find the clip on YouTube on HOT731. You need to find the balance for yourself between power and sound.

Considering that I removed the Borla H-pipe and dual resonators, if I were to ever buy an exhaust again, I would have one custom made at Rad Motorsport in Waipahu.

And yeah, that fricken roadster was hella loud.

I am a novice when it comes to this stuff. I would like it to sound just a little louder than the stock exhaust. But not so loud that I attract unwanted attention. Thanks for the suggestions/ Will simply changing the muffler do?

Then you only have 1 real option... the Nismo... which I have. It gets loud when you want it to... 3K+. You'll definitely notice the difference. The Nismo fits your criteria perfectly. The exhaust is easy to mount... but is a PITA if you don't have a lift... if that makes any sense.

i had my exhaust done at rad. it a true dual from the cat back. it sounds nice and its not to aggressive. they did a great job and its a real nice install. its got pretty good hp gain to it as well. and it was less than a grand for the whole thing.

Invidia N1, perfect sound without test pipes and headers. A different story when strup headers and titek test pipes added....you got airplane. Sound takes get'n used to but great gains.

you guys have pics of your muffler setups from Rads?

I called and went there today and spoke with the owner....The other guys were working on another car and doing some welding.

I currently have a Fast Intentions catback on my 370z and had KW V3s installed yesterday to 1 inch lower all around. Everything is fine, except I cannot get up my 30 deg driveway.. it scrapes the right cannister...in a discussion they suggested a new 3" flange dual cannister to tips exhaust for $450 that are smaller and would provide more clearance for me...Just not sure or seen examples of their cannisters and would like to see what you guys have currently.

I always buy bolt on cause I know what to expect since FI did the dyno for before and after.. since I got the catback already, Swapping in bolt on mufflers Rads can do for me would be a remedy for my driveway problems...
